The media could not be loaded. We are a multi cat family and have owned 2 other brand of Self-Cleaning Litter Boxes in the past. In need for a new one recently our old litter Robot stopped working and out of warranty. I have been using LALAHOME for 2 weeks now and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. It has been a game changer for me compare to the old one I had. Installation: Setting it up was relatively easy. The instructions were clear, and I had the litter box assembled and ready to use in under 5 minutes. There’s no need for any special tools or complicated steps. The video demo helps a lot as well. One of the standout features is the Auto Refill Litter design. Unlike traditional litter boxes that require constant monitoring and manual refills, this one takes care of it automatically. The tray dispenses the right amount of fresh litter as needed, keeping the box clean and ready for use at all times. This not only reduces waste but ensures your cat always has a clean space, making it healthier for my cats. I now don’t have to manually maintain litter box for 2+ weeks since litter will be auto refilled. In terms of maintenance, this litter box is as hands-off as it gets. The self-cleaning scoops waste into a sealed compartment, which is also safer and more efficient compare to other brand of rotational litter box. The waste container is easy to remove and dispose of, and the litter tray lasts for 2 weeks without needing attention. The media could not be loaded. I recently upgraded to Lalahome, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home. The biggest advantage is the convenience it offers. It keeps itself clean, so I no longer have to scoop daily, which saves a lot of time. The self-cleaning feature activates shortly after my cat uses it, ensuring the box is always fresh and ready for the next use. Another great feature is its ability to control odors. The waste compartment is well-designed to seal in any unpleasant smells, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the overall cleanliness of the room. It’s also easy to maintain. I just need to empty the waste drawer once a week and replace the litter less frequently than with a regular box. My cat adapted to it pretty quickly, and I think he appreciates having a consistently clean space. The design is spacious enough for him to move around comfortably, and the overall build quality feels solid and durable. Newest update: returned this POS. DOWNGRADED TO 1 star. Update: took another star away. it keeps getting worse. First time completely cleaning the box in 1-2 weeks because it reeks. Cats have used maybe 10x? Bag was only 1/3 full. Litter was caked to the bottom of the box. The box top continued to refill the tray even though it didn’t need to be refilled so when I emptied the litter it was filled to the brim of dirty caked litter. That can’t be good for the motor or comb to have to comb through tons of caked together litter. Taking the tray out, I noticed there is liquid urine sitting on the frame… whyyyy. How did it even end up there?! Cleaning box is pretty difficult with the deep troughs where the rake is supposed to comb through. Took me like 25 minutes to scrape all of it off. The clay litter ended up staining the bottom of the tray from scraping the plastic. I checked lalahomes website and I love that you can buy another box and trash bin if you’d like to replace it. But no rake replacement. I wish there was another rake that I could try. I feel like the rake is a lot of the issue. Not sure why most reviews are positive as I’m having the hardest time. Maybe my elderly cats pee more than the average cat and that’s why is sticks? I have no idea. I’m going to try another brand of litter once I run out of this brand and will update if it gets better. But still not pleased. Soooo this is my second ever auto litter box in my life… first one was around $75. Different brand. This one cost … much more. I’m starting to think I liked the old one I had better? Idk. I’m just upset at this box. It has not met my wishes so far for the price point.. Let’s go over my issues 1) instructions suck. It’s kind of a wing it and get it done. I used the videos, instruction pamphlet, and pictures all to try to piece together how to work this thing. 2) app has a lot to be desired. It limits what you can do from it. Sad it doesn’t weigh cats too. I get no notifications for some reason on it too. Idk why. 3) litter is very poor quality. I’ve had better luck from tidy cats but wanted to get the same brand as the box so if the litterbox broke, I knew it wasn’t based off of my incorrect litter choice. Litter doesn’t clump well to the waste and the rakes just kind of mix it all around in the box. Rake also scoops unused litter into the waste bin, making it super wasteful on clean unused litter. And it also tracks like you wouldn’t believe. I remember on set up I smoothed the brand new litter down in the box with my hand and took a bunch of litter with me when I moved my hand. 4) odor control is absent. I smell cats right away when walking into my house now. And that’s after about 3-5 uses after brand new in box so I know it’s not because it’s “overly full”. The whole purpose of an auto box is so you don’t have to scoop or empty every day. And I feel in order to get odor control at least with this litter… that’s what I need to be doing. 5) I have yet to figure out the app so I could be incorrect on this point, but I’m unable to time the box to scoop faster after a cat has used it. So my if my dogs want a treat… they need not rush, as the box has >180 seconds before it will scoop. Also, I haven’t seen a way on the app to “deodorize with the uv light from the app. 6) the actual box part where the cat stands to do their business is very small. Meaning only about an inch to an inch and a half of litter is available to them to use. It doesn’t seem very deep for a cat to get to do their business with confidence. 7) control panel on front is no bueno to me. I don’t like the press this many times for this option and hold for this option. Kind of reminds me of a flip phone… there’s no chime when you press anything so half the time I’m not sure wtf I’m even pressing. 8) the litter silos do not empty all the way when draining into the box. I’ve attached pics for that. For a $600 litterbox. Again. Still trying to find if it’s worth it. Idk. Just with the price point and what you get I’m pretty disappointed. Definitely cancelling my subscription on their cat litter as it is awful. I’ll have to get some chemicalled out litter with tons of fragrance to be able to stand the box I think. I’ll keep the box probably for good just because I’m not one to take a used pet item (involving waste) and send it back with our poor usps workers since I’ve tossed the box.. maybe do more shopping around before you settle because I’m wishing I would have for this high price. :( ... show more
