I have tried 3 different Sedna products and they all have the same problem. Only the first 2 ports are able to send data back up to the computer. Complete failure for my music studio where all devices need to talk back to computer. Amazon needs to update the product description

    • Power stopped working, causes macbook kernel panic.
This worked as expected for a short time. I use it for two disk drives and a midi keyboard. I plugged a regular mechanical keyboard (the typing kind) into it and got a kernel panic from my mac, crashed. Panic was related to USB, which can happen if you have too many unpowered devices on USB. Then I noticed the power light no longer lights up on the sedna USB hub... well that would explain it. Am I supposed to power 15 ports with a macbook? Of course not. It also won't charge a phone. This is USB-C, it should have a 20v power supply and PD ports. Instead it has a 5v DC in that dies after a few months. What a disappointment. ... show more

    • They always malfunction
Seems like this should be a no-brainer. I have two and the power fails after a couple weeks. It's a piece of junk.
