I bought this keyboard cover on a whim after purchasing one from Kuzy (for a higher price) that was so terrible I had to throw it away. This is a silicon keyboard cover, so it has no adhesives but it fits perfectly onto the keys. It has a slightly different texture, which is noticeable but what I would expect from a quality keyboard cover. The other keyboard cover I purchased was clear plastic with only two areas of adhesion, so it did not stick to the keyboard well at all and lifted up off of it. Very minor lifting by the spacebar is the only issue that I notice with this keyboard. It makes the sound of typing on the keyboard quieter. It is NOT flimsy -- it is very durable and will likely last for quite awhile of regular use. I type 80 wpm and it is not slowing me down. I notice the light not showing through the keys with the black cover, but what I do like is that the keyboard blends in so well that you cannot tell there is a keyboard cover. It really, really fits PERFECTLY onto the keys and is very easy to apply. It prevents oils from your fingers that transfering to your screen, and also prevents dust and crumbs from getting into the keyboard. I am someone who likes to keep my laptop looking pristine and brand new, so I'm really thankful for this keyboard cover. I don't really notice any downsides to it at all aside from the backlight on the keys not showing through, but that does not bothe me. First off, I love the serenity blue color! The printing on this keyboard cover is not perfect, some of the letters don't match up underneath, but it's not super noticeable unless you have your backlight brightness turned all the way up. So far the cover fits over the keys very well, but it is going to take some adjustments here and there to get it to settle onto the keyboard since its brand new. Typing on the keyboard hasn't changed much, other than my fingers not sliding on the keys as easily and the sound is much quieter. I'm glad to have something that will keep crumbs and dust out of my keys and be pretty at the same time! P.S. Please make a mint green color! ... show more

The letters don’t line up with the keyboard letters so you see double when it’s a little darker in the room which is trippy (not in a good way). I also find the material a little weird. I’ve ordered clear ones in the past that we’re a little smoother. Overall it’s fine. I still use it

The media could not be loaded. at first i purchased this keyboard cover because the colors were pretty but it literally feels so soft to type on! it also fits my keyboard perfectly without sliding around, i can close my laptop completely, and the case is removable so you can wash it

I bought this 3 months ago and it's basically useless now. The keys wore away in about a month and somehow it got stretched out so it doesn't properly fit the keys anymore.
