Nice and thin, doesn't get in the way or make it harder to use the keyboard. Lid still closes without interference. Word of advice: Pay attention to the details provided by the seller so you buy the right one that matches your keyboard. What helped me the most was the images of the keycaps. I got this keyboard protector in the light rainbow for my yoga 9i. The colors are so beautiful and matches the light champagne colored laptop so well. I love it. However, its taking me some time to get used to typing with the silicone cover on. Its hard to distinguish the keys by feel alone, especially the F and J keys that usually has the raised bumps so you know where to place your hands. Also, it reduces the bouceback of the keys while typing. Otherwise, I love how it is easy to clean. I love how easy this keyboard cover is to use and the many color choices. Be sure to pay close attention to the layout of your keyboard as they aren't all the same! I like that it is thin as not to be too bulky and the colors make it easier for me to see the letters/figures.
