Gifts for my three youngest grandkids. Two were given to me for free, but there is a third child in this group of kids, a girl. The other two are boys and the free ones were perfect for them. I found an identical one on Amazon in pink and made a little girl very happy. They ride them all the time, which is good. I fear that by next summer the bikes will be too small. However, by adjusting the seats and handlebars, they have lasted so far. Well worth the investment. Very cool tricycles! ... show more

    • 100% WORTH IT!
This is probably the best purchase I’ve ever made for a “toy” for any of my kids. My 2.5 year old (tall for her age) has had a blast being able to keep up with her big sisters on her bike. We’ve tried so many different ones loaned to us by other parents and none seemed to work well. This bike is soooooo sturdy and took me (ME! The one who rarely takes out a tool ever!) less than 20 minutes to put together even with three excited kids bouncing around. It’s definitely more expensive that what we would typically spend on a product like this, BUT, this could easily last much longer than any other brand on the market. I wish I would have made this purchase with our first because we could have passed it down. It’s impossible to tip over, the tires are REAL tires so it’s a super smooth ride, solid construction, super easy to put together, the little stand in the back has come in handy for snack breaks.     • Back tire innertube a PAIN to find and replace.
Nice, quality, attractive tricycle. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is that after the back inner tube on one of the tires came popped, the manufacturer couldn't seem to get the right innertube shipped to me. Apparently the back inner tubes are not listed in their database as the appropriate part. They kept sending me a 12in. Inner tube which fits the front tire perfectly, but bot the back tires. Even after searching other sources for the correct sized inner tube, I STILL couldn't find one to fit this tricycle. After much back and forth emailing and calling Schwinn, they eventually solved the problem and are delivering me the correct inner tube. Schwinn did work to resolve the issue after speaking with one of the reps on the confusion so I'm pleased with their customer service. However, all over the web people are searching for this tube and not many people seem to have much luck finding it without a lot of hassle, so that's something to think about before purchasing. Pray the back inner tubes don't ever bust or come to you busted like in my case. You may or may not be able to find a replacement. Otherwise, it is an adorable, well made and safe tricycle that my girls love. Hopefully Schwinn will fix whatever is in their system causing them to ship the incorrect part for the back tires. My 3yr old was sooooo excited when the box arrived. There was no hiding it was a bike for her so we put it together right away. She avidly helped and was in the way but most of all excited. She has a balance bike but doesn't seem to be grasping the concept so when the kids on the street are on their bikes she would just walk her bike. This allows her to be more part of the fun. I bought these for my grandchildren to ride in my mostly empty basement. I was afraid that they were going to be too big for this trike since they were 4 and 5 years old. My son did the assembly and while not horrible, it didn't seem to be extremely easy either. It took a little muscle, which I don't have. The trike seat and handlebars adjusted very nicely so that, even though the kids were bigger, they were able to get a comfortable fit. They love racing them. I bought two. One pink and one red. The trikes are very sturdy and well-made. I would recommend getting them for younger kids so that they will get more use out of them. The trikes are kept indoors so I am not sure how they will hold up in weather. ... show more
