This cabinet is nice, seems decently strong, and is attractive. The doors seem a bit flimsy but it’s not a big deal. I was able to fit my Instant Pot, Ninja Creami, Keurig, juicer, and many other items in it to clear counter space in my small kitchen (with room to spare)! I did search extensively for one deep enough for my large square air fryer. Sadly, the trim on the door and the center divider foiled my plans as it was not WIDE enough to slip in. But I moved my Kitchen Aide mixer from another storage area into this cabinet and it worked. I mention these appliances because the info would have been helpful in determining if it would work for me when I was searching hundreds of cabinet descriptions. It took me maybe 2-3 hours to put together alone, with breaks because my back was killing me! That being said, I was able to do it alone even with that physical limitation. The package was very heavy but the unit, once put together, was easy to relocate simply by dragging it on a towel across my hardwood floors. I would consider purchasing another if I needed it or if I had the space but the price also just jumped substantially after purchase ($50). ... show more

The thing that I don't like about Sauder's storage cabinet is a tolerable issue. I hate "engineered" wood. At least this doesn't use particle board but some other, better product. Still, it's not real wood. On the other hand... I compared this to a somewhat similar cabinet made partially out of real wood and yeezers - it was over twice the price! So there's a place for engineered wood if the product is well built. Is Sauder's product well built? Yes... for what it is. It is engineered wood that's screwed together. Not real wood with joints and glue and screws. This isn't something your grandchildren will be using but you'll get 20 or more years out of it unless your kids beat it up. I mean, it should be durable under normal use but kids might wreck it. Kid do stuff like swinging from the doors or climbing on the shelves. And I wouldn't recommend moving these from house to house. I wouldn't be optimistic that an assembled cabinet would survive a moving company. What about the assembly? Ah, my assembly was easy! I hired somebody some contractors who were working in the building to do it. They had between 1 and 3 people on the job. It took them about 4 hours to assemble and install 2 cabinets. I've seen reviews say the doors don't align well. All the doors on these cabinet are perfect. These contractors do a lot of cabinet work. They're familiar with the door hinges and approve of them. How do they look? They look GREAT. Sauder even supplies little wood grain stickers to hide the screw holes. The cabinets have a ton of space and adjustable shelves. You can even remove the shelves on one side giving you 53" of vertical storage. I'm quite happy with these. They're a good value, they look good and I can store a LOT of stuff in them. ... show more

I ordered 2. 1 arrived a week late. Assembly was surprisingly simple, I did it on my own, each cabinet took about 2 hours. The 1st cabinet is a little wobbly. I did put the backing on upside down and think this contributed to the wobble. I also did not install the felt pads on the bottom of my 2nd cabinet as I felt they didn't do anything and likely came off when I slid the cabinet against the wall anyway. The hinges were the only hard/weird thing to work with. It takes some muscle, but the sides are thin so too much muscle causes the cabinet to push outward. I just went slow, with steady, firm pressure and finally got the doors on (although still misaligned). 1 of the doors had a crack on the inside. Since these are just cheap cabinets to hide my crap, I did not really care. I like that the shelves are adjustable, allowing me to store a lot neatly. Definitely a great upgrade at a super affordable price. I am confident I'll get at least a few years out of them. ... show more

Great size, great quality, beautiful color, easy to assemble but time consuming, and no complaints about doors not matching up like others. We did receive one broken shelf but I immediately went to the website provided in instructions, ordered the replacement shelf for free, and within a day or two it arrived. No big deal. Doors are adjustable, instructions will tell you more if you need to adjust. We learned our entry way flooring wasn’t level so that made one set of doors need adjusted but you loosen a screw, adjust door by pulling it out or pushing it in, then tighten screw back. Really easy. Okay for the real review…love these cabinets. The shelves are adjustable (BUT THE DIVIDER DOWN THE MIDDLE IS NOT MOVABLE). I included pictures of my three cabinets I bought and you can see how we have the shelves different in each to accommodate what we are using it for. Two cabinets are for entryway organization. Fits a golf bag!!!! And the third cabinet is for toy storage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING FOR KITCHEN FOOD CANS AND WATER BOTTLES. I only say this because the shelves are held up by pegs in all corners, like how cheaper bookshelf shelves are. Last thoughts to add- The cabinets themselves are heavy and sturdy so I would finish building near where you want it to stay. The shelves aren’t flush with the sides so loose coloring pages in my kids cabinet can slide down. If using for an office that might matter. Also, the handles are low enough that my two year old can reach and open doors, grab what she needs, and close doors. Awesome for the toy cabinet and for her to get her shoes from entry way cabinet but get a door handle U shaped kids lock if you want to keep kids out. ... show more
