Features

  • Our dehumidifier removes up to 35 pints (50 Pint 2012 DOE Standard) of water from the air per day. This moisture-removing beast is fit for any basement, cellar or large room, so it quickly and effectively absorbs moisture without racking up your energy bill.
  • That most dehumidifiers are clunky eyesores is news to nobody. We designed with the modern consumer in mind: a sleek clean look, convenient built-in wheels and handles, and a quiet fan that wont drown out your current binge-watching obsession. Durability is key, too, which is why we offer a 1-year warranty only (plus an additional 1 year if the customer registered the product)
  • Dehumidifiers dont need to be complicated, so ours isnt. Adjust to your ideal moisture setting, then let it run its continuous 24-hour cycle until the tank is full, at which point it will automatically shut-off. Dont got time for that? Theres also a drain hose outlet for continuous draining. The hose is not included; we recommend a 58 diameter garden hose with an internal threaded end, and optionally Teflon tape for extra security.
  • Moist is a bad word. Our portable dehumidifier reduces moisture through its built-in pump compressor. It also features a Turbo mode that increases fan speed from Normal Air CFM 165 (cubic feet per minute) to High Air CFM 188 for maximum moisture removal
  • Dehumidifiers emit heat when in use (thats how they absorb the moisture). This product wont work in the same room as an evaporative cooler, and is intended for spaces between 1,500 and 3,000 SQ FT. It measures 15.4 x 11 x 24.3 inches, has a 1.8 gallon water tank capacity, and removes up to 35 pints of moisture from the air per day.

  • Slammed by Helene & Milton Hurricanes & high humidity for 2 weeks.
I added another Star =5 Stars after hurricanes Helene, Milton and then the Central A/C Intake started breaking down and leaking inside our unit. This Dehumidifier really worked and worked constantly, day and night 24/7. You set the humidity level and it will shut itself off when that level is attained. Durning these hurricanes t helped keep the humidity down to an acceptable level and kept everything cool and relitivley dry. With two hurricanes almost back to back, 150 tornados landing in 24 hours all over Florida and torential rain outside for weeks, we were concerned but also felt very blessed and sad for many people and pets who lost their homes. We were very fortiunate to have electric/power to run this Dehumidifierl; and we had some peace of mind to have this Dehumidifier working in the background. It won't stop a hurricane, from blowing off your roof, it will not stop storm surge or rain, but it keeps the humidity inside your home at a more, healthy and comfortable level and it also kept the the central AC (that was breaking down), running dry cold air, until we could replace it a few weeks later. The humidity inside our unit never went over 57% to 63%, and it dropped down to 44% to 51% witin 3-4 days even as it contiued raining, non stop outside. Bottom line: We set the humidity at 50% and just leave it. It protected expensive Guitars and musical instruments that we placed in their cases and Gig bags We had to empty the water every 1.5 to 2.5 hours, but ithat's to be expected when taking so much moisture out of the air in a 1,200 square foot space. It really passed the Test during the toughest of times. Its also very easy to clean and maintain. If you're living in the south east or by an ocean or a lake, it's certainly worth the investment. Past Review : 4 Stars...We reley on this Dehumidifier so we got the maximum extended warranty. It's a necessary investment you should consider for your health, the health of your family and animals in your home; A Dehumididfier is a MUST HAvE for your guitars and all other stringed instuments when you live in more extreme humid climates. We wish we had purchased this Dehumidfier sooner. It can be noisey but even the central AC is louder and drowns it out. You can dispose of the extra moisture or water from the Dehumidifier in the tiolet, utility sink or bath tub. It doesn't smell; and it also takes some strain off of your central AC by adding another dryer function which keeps AC running cool. It works well with central AC and heatin and we have humidity and tempeture gauges in every room. The filter is easy to find. The alarm will light up RED when the water bucket is full or the Filter needs to be cleaned. t has a low beep. The Dehumidifer Filter on this unit can be removed to be cleaned with a small old brush. There are different Dehumifier sizes to accomadate the size of your home or condo unit. We have the Unit for 1500 square feet for a large 2/2. If you have a two story home or Town house you might want to consider getting the larger unit or invest in two Dehumidifiers. The only reason we gave 4 stars is because we alled Customer Support to get a quick run down for setup and we were disappointed in their lack of product knowledge. ... show more

  • Easy to use, very effective. Excellent customer service!
Size: 3,000 Sq. Ft
For years I had a bathroom that was plagued with black mold due to excessive humidity. The little dots would appears along the tops of the walls shortly after I'd scrubbed them or painted over them, and then bloom into larger rosettes within weeks. We tried squirting bleach at them, we scrubbed them routinely, and they went away only to appear again a few weeks later. We tried leaving the door open to let some of the humidity out, but that meant less privacy. We opened the window in the summertime, and that helped, but in the winter it was far too cold. Then I stumbled across this machine while on vacation at my sister-in-laws house and the solution was clear. I'm one of those people who obsessively research a major-ish purchase like this before I buy it. I don't like dropping cash on something that later turns out to be a dud, so I read reviews and comparisons and went and looked a few items in stores. Finally, I bought this machine and it's terrific. It works effectively and is easy to use. I empty it about once/week and clean the filter on average once/month. I'm very satisfied - if you're looking for a good, quality dehumidifier with great customer support look no further. UPDATE 2/10/19: My original unit stopped working after a few months so I reached out to HOmelabs and they substituted it for free. The replacement has been chugging away for nearly a year now without any issues - faithfully sucking the moisture out of the air and drying out my steamy bathroom. Best of all - ZERO black mold. Love this unit and would highly recommend both the appliance and the brand. UPDATE 7/6/20: this little beast is still going strong. Sucks the humidity out of the bathroom in the winter and then moves to the basement in the summer. Runs 25/7/365 without complaint or missing a beat. Pretty economical to run, too. Would recommend and buy another whenever the time comes. UPDATE 5/14/22: This little champ is still going after nearly five years. It runs daily, faithfully dehumidifying our bathroom which sees 3-4 steaming hot showers per day (kids have grown into smelly teenagers since we’ve had this thing). I haven’t seen mold in so long I’ve forgotten what it looks like. About to pull the trigger on buying another unit for the basement over the summer, which will then replace the original on the bathroom/basement rotation when it eventually has to “go play with its friends on a farm upstate” someday. UPDATE 7/31/23: This thing is truly the energizer bunny of dehumidifiers. It’s getting a little noisier and perhaps a little less efficient but after 5.5 years of non-stop service it has held up extremely well for a consumer grade appliance. I still haven’t subbed it out for a new one (probably will do so as we get back into fall and the bathroom window closes). When I do getting another one of these will be the easiest decision of the year. ... show more
