Great easy to follow instructions that are well broken out. Slightly time consuming to put together, but worth taking your time and tightening every screw. I was able to put ot all together without needing another person. Pretty sturdy. Easy to move after assembled. Deep color. I did drop my screwdriver on the door and the paint chipped, but nothing a wood marker can't fix. Only a few very minor imperfections in the materials. This is a nice sturdy little chest. It takes some time to assemble but well worth it, for the price, it's unbeatable. We are using it in the bathroom and it looks like the drawers can fit 4 jumbo rolls of TP. So, lots of storage space. The shelves behind the door are tall enough to fit Costco size shampoo bottles. I'm pretty good with build-it-yourself, and found this to be easy to assemble. I also thought the directions were clear, but they definitely require you to pay attention. Two pieces had minor damage (a corner that is not smooth, a small chip, and a weird rust colored splat looking stain that came off but took the top finish off with it). Luckily the damages, with the exception of the corner, all face the interior of the cabinet so it's not too noticeable. As other reviews have stated... Holy moly is this thing S-T-I-N-K-Y. I do not know what happened between here and China but woof. I've had the completed shelf on my porch airing out for 2 days now and while it's better, it's still too stinky to bring in. Last but not least... this thing is small. In its defense, that's why I ordered it - to fit in a particular spot in a small bathroom - so I'm not deducting any stars for that. But now that I've built it and tried to use it, I feel like I'd need a toddler on hand to fetch items from the bottom drawer/shelf so I don't throw my back out trying to get down there. The country-chic look of the cabinet doesn't really lend itself to mid-mod hairpin legs, but I've still ordered a set to add to the bottom in hopes that raising the whole thing a bit might make it more useful for me. My complaints are relatively minor, and the finished product is cute and sturdy with plenty of storage space. If you're sure this is the size you want, I say go for it. Quick update to add a pic with the 8" hairpin legs.... Which raise this cabinet just enough to make it SO much more usable for me. I even kinda love the look! Also, after 2 more days on the porch, it's still stinky, but much better. ... show more

When I opened the box, I was intimidated by the MANY pieces. Thankfully, they had each piece and part specifically labeled. This helped keep things organized and it made it so much easier to put together! They also include really good assembly instructions with great visuals. The assembly was very clear but it does take a good amount of time. I think it took me 1.5hours to put it together by myself. But once assembled it was perfect. Love the color and love the sturdiness. No complaints

Did get the drawers put together incorrectly cause the hole goes towards the back of the drawers to place a peg in to keep the drawers from falling out when opening too much. Easy fix!
