Ok, this tree skirt is VERY bright and the gold trim is shiny. Even the non-glitter gold part shines. It might even be a little loud and tacky, but once the tree is up and presents are underneath, it should be fine. A big takeaway I have with this is the glittery Santa and reindeer design. It is pure glitter, but it does not flake off! I touched it and it did not come off on my hand or fingers. I am not saying not one piece of glitter will end up in your floor, but most glittery things make at least somewhat of a mess. This doesn’t. It is sealed with something, apparently. This is a very pretty tree skirt. The red is a soft velour texture and is extremely vibrant. The gold trim looks almost metallic. So does the Santa and reindeer design. It is a little smaller than I was expecting, but that was because I didn't pay close enough attention to the measurements. The trouble with doing thematic Christmas trees is you never have anything generic on hand. I noticed we have a plethora of sequins in varying colors, and plenty of fake fur, but not much in the basic red category. This skirt is just fine for what I need. It's flannelette (with what feels like a polyester backing), plus a gold Mylar trim. There a silhouette of Santa in his sleigh with four reindeer (the other four being implied) applied with gold glitter on the front, with ties to secure the skirt in the back. It's a nice medium-to-large sized skirt (the photo with pen has the skirt folded twice) and is shipped in a vacuum sealed plastic bag, inside a box with a cute vintage logo. I was a little on the fence about getting this - since I hardly need another tree skirt - but I'm really happy I got it; it's just adorable. A few days hanging in the bathroom steam should sort out the wrinkles and make it all ready for the holidays. ... show more

If you need a low cost basic tree skirt, and you like the design, this one may be for you. It serves the intended purpose. It arrived in a vacuum-packaged plastic bag inside a small box. The material feels like a very thin flannel/fleece-type material. The material is thin, as would be expected for a product at this price point. The red tree skirt has gold color trim and a gold ribbon tie. Four golden reindeer and Santa and his sled decorate the skirt and are made of gold-color glitter. The back is solid red, but I would not consider this skirt 2-sided or reversable. All seams are visible on the back side. It appears to be well made. Reds are bright. Gold color is a metallic-shiny gold color. If you need a tree skirt for a small tree, this is a value. I do not think you could buy the material at a fabric store and sew a skirt like this one for less than ten dollars. ... show more

This is an OK tree skirt - the issues for me are that (1) it feels thin and cheaply made; and (2) the colors are off - the red is a vibrant fire-engine red, rather than a "Christmas" red, and the gold is just not right - it is a gaudy gold rather than a "Christmas" gold. But that's just taste, perhaps, and other might like the colors, while I don't really love them. There are other much prettier options available. ... show more

When I unpacked this tree skirt the first thing I noticed was the gold lamé and felt and wondered how I was going to get the wrinkles out. It needed steaming, since an iron would've destroyed the gold foil material. It became wrinkle-free after a quick steaming that didn't get the steamer too close. It's OK as a tree skirt, but only if you need something quick to cover the stand. Not elegant at all, but it works fine. ... show more

Very lovely very nice. Very detailed tree skirt. The red and gold colors look very nice together the size of the average size. The design is good. In the material is good. It’s very well-made and will look great under any tree over all I really like it. I would definitely recommend it.

It has a very red holiday color. The glitter doesn't fall off which is super nice. It's very soft as well and covers the three with no problem.
