Overall, this is a great AV shelf. It's attractive, sturdy and easy to mount. Everything I needed was included in the kit. I mounted it right under the TV and put a DVD player and sound bar on the shelf (sound bar on top of the DVD player). The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the box meant to hide cables. The slot for wires on the top cap of the box is too narrow for the HDMI cable coming from my TV. And the channel at the shelf base is too small to fit the plug end of my power strip through. I was hoping to have all my cords bundled on the shelf and the only thing extending below the shelf being the power strip cord going to the outlet. I ended up routing the power strip cord off the side of the shelf - doesn't look horrible, but would have looked better coming from the center bottom of the shelf. I suppose if you have a cheapo skinny HDMI cable and don't need the power strip on the shelf, this might work better for you. ... show more

Description is pretty accurate, my only issue is the gap for the wires at the top, could be slightly wider it’s a tight squeeze and I have 3 wires plus a real skinny wire, but other than that it looks great and being 12.5 my PlayStation sticks out an inch or so in the front cable box ect is on top of that but all other models are even smaller and it’s not really noticeable, so I’d recommended it ... show more

Decent for the price, they are true to size width but the depth is actually 11.5 not 12.5 inches due to the mount for glass. Bought these close to a year ago, finally got around to installing them and the missing inch makes them useless for what I bought them to hold.
