I love this screen in my wife's van when I drive! I'm not a fan of the wireless Android Auto connectivity, so I normally use the USB connection which works great! My phone won't charge while using, but I'm okay with that. Connecting via USB will require a seperate headset for calls, but again, I'm okay with that as the call quality is sub-par with these types of units. As for the other features, they work without issue! I also love how I can move it between her van and my truck as needed! I just got this 10.26-inch Car Stereo and I'm super impressed. It's like a mini tech upgrade for my car. Here's what I think of it: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are super easy to use. It's a piece of cake connecting my phone and having all my favorite apps right on the car's screen - a real life saver for maps and music. The 10.26-inch touchscreen display is a huge plus. It's super clear and responsive, making it super convenient to use, especially for Google Maps or Spotify. Installation was surprisingly simple. I expected to need help, but it was pretty straightforward. The suction cup mount and brackets made it easy to install on either the dashboard or the windshield. The sound options are great. You can connect to the car's speakers through FM transmitter, AUX, or Bluetooth. I personally prefer the Bluetooth connection for its better sound quality. The HD rear-view camera with night vision has made parking and reversing way safer and easier. Trivial to add Carplay to my old truck. That’s the only thing I want out of it. It works well, except sometimes it doesn’t connect to the phone and needs Bluetooth fiddling. The built in speaker is not loud enough for an old, loud diesel pickup truck, but the FM forwarding works. It seems to always draw power and my 12v port doesn’t turn off with the truck, and I seldom use this truck so I have to unplug it between uses to preserve my sad old batteries. ... show more

The unit was reasonable for the price point and while it worked it was great. However the non-standard power adapter broke after 2 months of light use. If you’ve got an older car without car play these units are a game changer. Just not this one. A configurable nighttime brightness setting and a reliable and standard power adapters would make this into something worth buying. ... show more

There are many things like about this portable stereo. 1. You don't have to install it 2. Super easy set up 3. Stays connected to my phone 4. Starts up when I start my car 5. Sounds great 6. Google assistant work perfectly Just a couple of down sides 1. Can't use the maps on my phone and device at the same time 2. I bought this gadget for my son who owns an old jalopy with an antique radio that has a cassette and CD players and AUX port -- no screen, no CarPlay, no Bluetooth, we're talking dark ages here. Replacing the head unit in this old car didn't make much sense, but adding wireless CarPlay for less than $130 was an interesting proposition. To my surprise... It's fantastic! First, the display: bright and crisp, the resolution and the wide format are perfect. The screen is wide and not tall, so it does not obstruct the view. The touch screen is responsive. And, Connectivity options are great, in and out: you can connect iPhones and Android phones wirelessly for CarPlay and Android Auto; and send audio out via AUX line (provided) or a built-in FM radio transmitter. There are built-in speakers. The back of the unit features a dashcam that automatically records the view from your windshield; you can also connect an optional backup camera. Connecting the iPhone was exactly as you would on a car with built-in Wireless CarPlay: pair with Bluetooth, tap "Use CarPlay" and you're all set, every time you start the car your phone will connect automatically without even having to take it out of your pocket. This is the fifth GPS device that I have purchased from Amazon.com and I have had to return all five because of GPS connection issues, but not this one. The navigation connections thus far out performs all those other ones. And the features of this device are working as described. I really like this device and to think it was priced somewhat lower than some of the other ones I had purchased.
