This product is great for its purpose but it is deafening even at the lowest volume. I wish it had a tune, or a different chime option. The media could not be loaded. I ordered the door and or window alarm sensors, and I must say I'm quite impressed. Setting up these sensors was a breeze. The kit includes straightforward instructions, making it veryeasy for anyone. I've installed them on my doors to enhance my home security. The flexibility is a significant advantage. The ability to adjust the volume and customize it to your liking. It's loud enough to grab your attention and even deterrent any potential intruders. The four modes allows you to choose the alert type. These sensors have proven to be highly reliable providing peace of mind. I haven't experienced any false alarms, which is the main point for maintaining trust in a security device. I really wanted this unit to work as it might help me with my wife who has dementia. In the right house it may work. However in mine, it just wasn't possible. I wanted to attach this wireless alarm to either our front door or the door out to our garage. Unfortunately there are installation issues and/or poorly written instructions. The main part of the alarm is supposed to be able to be attached to the door either by screws (included) or by double sided tape (also included). However there is no place to insert the screws. So only the tape will work. The next issue is to attach the magnet to the door frame. The main unit is supposed to detect when the door opens and the magnet is out of range. In our case we have molding around the doors. When the magnet is attached to the nearest molding that fits the width of the magnet, the gap between the main unit and magnet is more than 0.6 inches - the maximum gap allowed for the alarm to work. Lastly, the main unit requires two AAA batteries. These don't come with the product. Although the remote comes with a watch type battery. Weird to have one but not the other. Not a big deal, however this is not mentioned on Amazon. It is mentioned in the installation instructions however. I tried another location as well - the sliding glass door out to our pool. Unfortunately the design of the door has a raised lip for the door to lock. This lip effectively blocks the the magnet from communicating with the main unit, even though it's withing the 0.6 inch distance. Even though it couldn't be installed in my house, I tested the remote and alarm functions. There are different modes and also different alarm levels.
