This is impressive tool for its size. Tons of uses and it can cut through reasonably sized wood (prob up to 4-5” branches). It has a hand safety guard which other similar saws don’t have. Well built and includes all necessary accessories and chain oil which others don’t.

This hand saw works very well. The battery holds charge longer than I expected. The only negative is that the tool has some sort of a thermal cutoff switch. I wanted a chainsaw but am a litttle scared of the regular sized ones having never used one. I thought I’d start small. A friend recommended this one and it was a good deal so I got it. I’m so glad she mentioned it and sent me the link! Great value for the $! I charged the battery and got to pruning some 4” limbs about a week later. I easily cut 4” limbs and then decided not to follow the instructions and tried a 6.5” limb and silly me stopped mid-cut only to get it stuck! I tried for an hour to get it out but couldn’t. Totally my fault! My landscapers finished the cut with a pole saw and handed me back my lil chainsaw that had spent the night hanging from the tree. To my surprise it still works after our fight! I quickly got to work and easily removed an unwanted bush only cutting up to the recommended 4” in diameter. Fast, easy and did the trick! Nice piece of equipment. Sturdy, safe and easy to use. Battery was nearly fully charged right out of the box. Just oiled the chain (with supplied oil, per instructions), installed the battery and started cutting. Cut through a 3 inch branch with very little effort. Made about 15 cuts on a 3 inch branch and battery still showed near full charge. It definitely beats trying to use a pruner or getting my big chainsaw out. ... show more

So I didn't believe when my sister in law told me about this mini saw. She said my nephew cut up a tree that fell in the yard from the hurricane with it, and I said no way. It wasn't a huge tree but it was pretty good size. So I bought one because I have a bunch of big limbs down from the same storm. Welp... She wasn't lying. This thing has blasted through every limb I have tackled with it. I checked the reviews before I bought it and some one had said cut through it like butter and this one did exactly that.
