I live in the country and the perimeter of my yard is about 1700'. Every year I would suffer with blisters and eventually end up with trigger thumb or trigger finger from the constant pressure from traditional pruners. After three trips to a hand specialist (once each year) I decided there had to be a better way to get this unpleasant and painful job done. That's when I saw an add for this tiny handheld chainsaw on FB. I did my usual research on which brand would be the best for the money and decided on this one. I have to say it's the best gardening tool I've ever bought and believe me, I've bought a few! I was able to trim back an overgrowth of a mixture of wisteria, blackberry canes, wild grape vines and honeysuckle vines in no time. I cleared a swath approximately 30' long, 3' deep and 4' high in about 45 minutes. It would have taken hours and many blisters to do the same amount with regular pruning shears. So, trimming is now fun......the hauling off the trimmings, well not so much but it's gotta be done! This little gem comes with two extra blades, safety goggles, a pair of so so gloves, a tiny bottle of oil for the chain, a couple of tools, two 20v batteries, and of course, the owner's manual. Not to mention a very nice sturdy tool box to store this treasure in. There are only two downsides to owning this wonderful tool. One is that it can be a bit tricky changing out the blades for a fresh one. It took me a while but I finally managed to get it on properly. The other downside is that using this little gem is so much fun, you trim away and don't want to quit and then you see what a huge pile of branches and such that have to be hauled away. Oh well. Anyway, if you want to make trimming easier, this is the tool for you. I'm 72 years old, had a stroke last year, and can work for several hours with this as it's lightweight and again, fun to use. This little chainsaw has done a great job with helping me clear some unruly bushes in the yard. It is fairly easy to use and I believe it is a good value for the money. The chainsaw is pretty lightweight, which was important to me so that is a huge plus, makes it easy to move around. Pleasantly surprised with this electric chainsaw. Phenomenal at handling up to 4-6 inches in diameter branches / trees. Might be even better. Cuts through the job like a hot knife through butter. Impressed. Extra chain included as well. Holds charge. Actually quite powerful.

Wooow, this little guy does the job!!! It took me less than 5 minutes to trim my nectarines tree, it used to take me 45 minutes to an hour using other sources, I really appreciate it being so compact and easy to use, I don't plan to abuse it's use, so I expect for this little guy to stick around for a long time, battery life is limited but the company was kind enough to send two batteries, that was cool. ... show more

For context, this review is being written by a fat 70-year-old woman with a bad hip. This little chain saw is fabulous. It came today, the batteries were already charged, so I got right to work sawing down the "weed trees" clogging up my back yard. I'd been using loppers to shorten them as much as I could, but I was constantly cutting off new growth, which was a giant pain, and the remaining trunks were still in the way. Less than 10 minutes with this baby and the trunks were gone and everything was at the curb. I've got some more trees to remove or just trim in the front yard, and I can't wait. This was a great deal for the price. It came with 2 batteries, 2 extra chains - even gloves and eye protectors, all packed into a sturdy case. Not to mention it's a lovely shade of blue.
