I live in the country and the perimeter of my yard is about 1700'. Every year I would suffer with blisters and eventually end up with trigger thumb or trigger finger from the constant pressure from traditional pruners. After three trips to a hand specialist (once each year) I decided there had to be a better way to get this unpleasant and painful job done. That's when I saw an add for this tiny handheld chainsaw on FB. I did my usual research on which brand would be the best for the money and decided on this one. I have to say it's the best gardening tool I've ever bought and believe me, I've bought a few! I was able to trim back an overgrowth of a mixture of wisteria, blackberry canes, wild grape vines and honeysuckle vines in no time. I cleared a swath approximately 30' long, 3' deep and 4' high in about 45 minutes. It would have taken hours and many blisters to do the same amount with regular pruning shears. So, trimming is now fun......the hauling off the trimmings, well not so much but it's gotta be done! This little gem comes with two extra blades, safety goggles, a pair of so so gloves, a tiny bottle of oil for the chain, a couple of tools, two 20v batteries, and of course, the owner's manual. Not to mention a very nice sturdy tool box to store this treasure in. There are only two downsides to owning this wonderful tool. One is that it can be a bit tricky changing out the blades for a fresh one. It took me a while but I finally managed to get it on properly. The other downside is that using this little gem is so much fun, you trim away and don't want to quit and then you see what a huge pile of branches and such that have to be hauled away. Oh well. Anyway, if you want to make trimming easier, this is the tool for you. I'm 72 years old, had a stroke last year, and can work for several hours with this as it's lightweight and again, fun to use. For context, this review is being written by a fat 70-year-old woman with a bad hip. This little chain saw is fabulous. It came today, the batteries were already charged, so I got right to work sawing down the "weed trees" clogging up my back yard. I'd been using loppers to shorten them as much as I could, but I was constantly cutting off new growth, which was a giant pain, and the remaining trunks were still in the way. Less than 10 minutes with this baby and the trunks were gone and everything was at the curb. I've got some more trees to remove or just trim in the front yard, and I can't wait. This was a great deal for the price. It came with 2 batteries, 2 extra chains - even gloves and eye protectors, all packed into a sturdy case. Not to mention it's a lovely shade of blue. This little tool is very easy to handle, great value for your money, cuts great almost anything you need to cut within reasonable size. We cut a 3” limb and it did great. We cut for about 3 hours straight the blade stayed sharp, we had to tighten the chain a few times and place a drop of oil. The battery seemed to stay charged well. It’s nice getting an extra battery with the saw. It’s small and compact and easy for any adult to use! ... show more

I recently purchased the Saker Mini 6 “ chainsaw through Amazon! I was skeptical with all the excellent reviews but for the price I gave it a shot! And just wow! This thing is powerful, smooth cutting and very easy to handle. I was able to slice through 5 inch limbs like butter! The saw is impressive, it does the job as intended, I cannot find anything negative thus far about its performance. I really like this tool!!! Pros: Used it for a long time cutting branches into smaller pieces and the battery was still going. Therefore, I think the batteries are definitely a plus. Cons: a bit of struggle to put everything back in its case after usage. charging cable may not last too long if the tool is used frequently resulting in frequent charging the batteries. ... show more

I wanted something lightweight but heavy duty enough for heavier trimming around my back yard. I dropped two 4" lilac limbs, stripped and stacked in just 15-20 minutes. The labor is easy and time saved valuable to me. I like the balance in my hand, the way it grips, the steady quickness chewing through limbs and branches. It comes with a charger and 2 batteries, 2 extra chains, and a starter tube of bar oil. And I can use vegetable oil. There's maintenance tools too and it all fits neatly into a hard plastic box, easy to store. I have no safety issues with it, in fact there's a pair of safety glasses and gloves too.
