When I received this tool (Ryobi P361) and tried it out I was disappointed, like some of the reviewers had mentioned. It would not shoot the staples (1 1/4") into the wood, soft pine, without about 1/4" left out of the wood. So, I decided to read the instructions, lol. I knew there was a force adjustment control but thought it was the knob on the front by the outlet, and it, of course, did nothing. The instructions showed me the actual process. Sure enough, there is an adjustment lever on the rear on the body of the stapler. When I adjusted it to full the staplers were injected perfectly, time and again. I was about to return it because of this issue until I actually found the right adjustment. Perhaps some of the other reviewers didn't find that adjustment....hopefully. I have only had this a few days but no issues now. Hopefully it will remain that way. ... show more

I love the flexibility of a battery powered crown stapler. The Ryobi is a great option for the non-professional who only has the occasional need to use this tool. It has performed well and has plenty of power for using around the house.

This stapler operates properly less than half the time. It's being returned for this reason. Very unreliable, not worth keeping.
