  • great tool
This stapler works great and saves a bunch of time. It does not tear up the romex at all and holds it snug.

  • Good purchase, does its job
Unit is a little heavy but makes a difficult job much easier. The staples are wimpy because they have to be driven with one shot and they don't hold a single 14-2 wire tightly and often require a hit with a hammer to firm up the grip but on 12-3 and double 14-2 or 3 the staples set tight enough. You can't throw away your hammer but this allows you to staple in places you cant swing a hammer and speeds up the job considerably. Would like to see a depth adjustment or a pressure setting but I am happy with it as is. Comes with a belt hook but it weighs too much for my belt. ... show more

  • Useful
Works great. But it’s a beefy tool. it weighs more than I expected for a tool meant to be used over head and with one hand. Also the body of the tool which is held is larger than expected also. But it drives the staples just fine in wood that’s 80 years old and came from trees grown the old fashioned way and isn’t necessary pine. Maybe the extra weight was intended so it could drive staples into old wood as well. ... show more

  • Dewalt stapler- works better than I thought it would
So out of the box no issues , worked as I figured after reading reviews prior to purchasing. Good - speeds up laying out wire , especially if your doing it alone. Bad- if your looking for a tight fit, this isn’t it. You need to hammer down the staple a little bit. Unless your stapling two 12-2 over each other I also used this on chicken fencing and it worked amazing. For the price it’s great - highly suggest only using the bigger amp hour batteries though , the small 20v gives you a few shots and is dead. ... show more
