  • Great camera, great value
Size: 1 camera
I recently installed the Yakry Y27 Wireless RV Backup Camera System on my RV, and I’ve been really impressed with its performance. The installation was surprisingly easy, especially since my RV was already pre-wired for a Furrion system—the included bracket and pigtail wire made the process smooth. The dual-antenna design keeps the signal strong, and the image on the 7-inch monitor is crisp and clear, even at night, thanks to the night vision feature. I was a little concerned that the screen might be too big for my setup, but it actually works well for me. For the price, this system is a fantastic deal, offering reliable performance without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a solid backup camera for your RV, I’d definitely recommend this one! ... show more

  • Flawless, sturdy unit. Impressive display quality SEE PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Size: 1 camera
I have installed a number of back up cameras on various vehicles. Until now, none really had any decent resolution. This time, I decided to spend a few more dollars for a unit with excellent reviews. One of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Installation was a snap, and as soon as I powered up the camera and the display screen, they seemed to instantly pair with each other with no further action on my part. The view is very wide angle, which is desirable for a rear view camera. Best, though, the quality of the display is amazingly crisp and color true. I asked the seller to provide the second camera as stated in the listing (i'll have one unit on my truck's tailgate, mostly for lining up trailer hitch, and the other on the rear of my RV trailer). The second camera came with all attachments within a matter of days, free, including shipping. Communication with the vendor was quick and professional. The units themselves (both camera and screen display) have a very hefty, confident feel to them, not at all like most of the cheesy plastic units out there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE MARCH 2021 As stated in the listing, the vendor will provide a FREE second camera upon request after you receive your initial order. I planned on using one camera (with a strong magnet mounted on the back) as temporary use when connecting my truck and RV trailer together. The second one will be mounted on the rear of my RV trailer. However, I had a hell of a time getting the second camera to pair. The vendors were responsive to my questions, but still it took 5-6 emails over a period of 7-10 days to finally get it resolved. There may be an easier way, but these are the step-by-step instructions I employed to finally get both cameras paired to the display unit: PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS The pairing has to be done for a designated Channel/Camera . There are 4 possible channels.. if you press the CH button on the display unit, it will show the channel (camera?) number selected in upper LH corner. The initial camera comes paired, of course, with the channel 1. If you try to pair the second camera while channel 1 is being displayed, that camera over-writes the pairing for that position, so that the original camera is now no longer recognizable. Here's the step-by-step process that worked for me: 1) Make sure both cameras and display screen are powered ON (If cameras are plugged into vehicle or RV wiring, then this means turning on your "running lights" to provide power 2) Press Menu, then +/- to highlight the CAMERAS menu.. Turn OFF cameras 3 and 4 so your display will only cycle between cameras 1 and 2 (This takes some fiddling, but eventually you'll figure it out) 3) Once out of the Menu, the originally supplied camera's output should be displayed on the screen, with CH 1 displayed in upper LH corner 4) Press CH once so that CH 2 is displayed in LH corner. The screen should show "No Signal" 5) Press Menu, then OK while the PAIRING menu is highlighted 6) The "Pairing" countdown will begin.. as soon as it does, disconnect the power to the target camera for 3-4 seconds, then plug it back in before countdown finishes 7) If all goes well, you will now see the output of camera 2 displayed on the screen 8) Press the CH button to toggle between the two camera displays 9) Once paired, both cameras should come alive when powered up with no further future pairing required. 10) Note that in the menu you can choose different screen presentations.. for example you can choose to have both cameras displayed on 1/2 half screen, side by side, or just one camera at a time, chosen by pressing the CH button ... show more

  • Impressive camera that works great.
Size: 1 camera
This camera system was easy to install. The monitor and camera paired easily. Video quality on the monitor is very good. I easily mounted the rear camera using VHB tape on the bracket. I wish the built in sunscreen was a little larger. It has worked dependably since I installed it. It easily plugged in to dashboard accessory socket for power for monitor. For the rear camera you can tap into rear light wiring. ... show more

  • Works much better than expected!
Size: 2 cameras
I purchased these cameras to install on the back of a 4-door Jeep Wrangler being towed behind a 31-foot motorhome. Being my first experience towing a vehicle behind an RV, I wanted to make sure that I could see behind the Jeep when changing lanes, merging, or passing. This monitor and cameras are perfect for this application. Before I purchased, I was apprehensive about the monitor, in the front of the RV, being able to receive the signal from the cameras at the back of the Jeep. The advertised range is hundreds of feet of open area, but the monitor is installed inside and the cameras are outside. I connected the cameras to the constant power connected running to the rear roll bar dome light and added a toggle switch (not included, but available at my local hardware store) so that I would be able to turn the cameras off when not in use. After installing and powering everything, the cameras came on and connected immediately and automatically to the monitor. The only issue was that the camera I had installed on the left of the Jeep was on the right side of the monitor. There is probably a setting in the menu to swap them. I opted to physically swap the cameras instead. The daytime image quality is amazing. The nighttime image quality is acceptable and varies by lighting conditions. For example, the image is great until there are bright headlights shining on the camera. Then, all you can see are the headlights and the lines on the road. For my application, however, that's all I need. That is, all I need to know is if there is a vehicle there or not. I would buy this monitor and cameras again! That said, there are a few things to be aware of in making this purchase: 1. The installation instructions/owner's manual is worthless. Sure, you get one that is paper with words and pictures, but there's no real useful information. If you require detailed, step by step instructions to perform the installation, that's not in the manual. 2. The antennas on the cameras seem flimsy, especially in my application where the cameras are mounted outside of the vehicle with antennas facing nearby cargo on the rack that is often taken off the rack and put back on. I will be ordering spares. 3. I haven't been able to find the slot in the monitor to install the memory card to record video. As mentioned, the manual is worthless. 4. There is a noticeable and distracting flash during nighttime operation. I think what is happening is that the cameras are changing light modes as lighting conditions change while driving. This might occur for all similar products. 5. There is a slight but noticeable stutter in the video when driving at highway speeds. For my application, I don't need to see every frame. Again, all I need to know is if there is a vehicle there or not. Overall, the issues are minor in comparison to the benefit that the system provides, including ease of installation, for the cost. ... show more
