This is the third AMTIFO backup camera I’ve bought. I already have one in our other car and got one for a family member. As usual, the installation was simple, the camera is already paired to the monitor, and the wireless range is solid. With this and all of my AMTIFO backup cameras, I never had any connection problems. The trailer that I'm using this camera with didn't have a magnetic surface, however, customer service was very helpful and sent me a free metal plate. The magnets are also a lot stronger than expected. This camera won't come off, no matter how bumpy the road is. I haven't had a chance to test this specific camera on a longer trip yet, but on all the trips I've taken the battery life was excellent. Especially with the big solar panel, I'm not expecting any issues. Even my other AMTIFO cameras still have great battery life and never run out of power on long trips. I also like the image quality, which has improved compared to the previous version. The screen is larger and has a high resolution. It's clear day and night and works well even in the rain. It comes with both USB and 12V power options, and I like that the power adapter has a switch, so I can leave the monitor installed and just turn it on when needed. Overall, for the price, it’s a solid backup camera. I’ve been happy with all three that I’ve bought and with their customer service. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this camera after comparing others based on price, picture quality and simplicity of use. I have been more than happy with the purchase. First off, you get two high quality cameras that require no hard wiring, that alone was a big plus. When camping and driving my truck while it was disconnected from my trailer, I had a perfect picture for more than 500 feet from the trailer, the connection range was very impressive. The setup was somewhat easy, as for the monitor, it comes with two different cables (a USB and a lighter type plug) both with an on/off switch. I personally just left it on at all time while I was on the road. It comes with a bracket attached so you can mount it on your dash and this was my biggest problem with this unit. I do not want to mount it permanently nor do I want a permanent bracket on my truck, so I chose to mount it on my windshield using a aftermarket suction cup which required some finesse to attach to the monitor. I know that the company has a suction mount option, but I think it should be included as it makes sense that many would like to use it as opposed to a permanent mount. Once mounted by what ever means you chose the monitor is very clear and the image is very sharp. You have the option of recording on to a memory card, which can be very beneficial although it does not seem very user-friendly to install or remove for playback, which appears to be only available on an external device. Lastly the cameras are magnetic with a very strong magnet (don’t worry they will not fall off) I charged them before I attached them to my trailer and after driving for about four hours the camera was still fully charged thanks to the attached solar panel which seems to keep the camera fully charged with good sun light. I chose to only use one of the two cameras provided thinking I may need to swap it if the first one drained, but it was not necessary as I mentioned the camera kept a full charge. I chose to mount it on my bumper which is probably not the best place for it although it did provide a great picture and view of all that was behind me. The reason for my mount location which brings me to my last issue, is that my trailer is almost 100% fiberglass so unless I attach a metal plate somewhere to accommodate this magnetic camera, my mounting locations are limited. You can mount two cameras, and have a split screen or switch back and forth between the two, but I felt one camera to see what is going on behind me was more than adequate.     • A Great Backup Camera System!

This AMTIFO Camera System is very easy to install and the picture quality is excellent. The camera itself has a very strong magnet to securely hold it in place. The camera is mainly charged by solar, but it can also be plugged in if needed due to cloudy days. The Monitor plugs into a Cigarette Lighter/Power Port, or a 12V USB Power Supply. All the cables are supplied, and the battery life is great. I’m using mine as a rear camera for my 30’ RV Trailer, and the WiFi works perfectly with no issues. Also, when I’m not pulling my trailer, I can just pull it off the RV and stick it on the back of my truck, “no wiring to mess with”. I was in the market for a RV camera that included a monitor. When I originally purchased the RV it came with a camera but no monitor. I had to either buy a separate monitor or use the phone app, which I didn’t want to do. I came across this system that included 2 cameras and 1 monitor. You can view each camera full screen or double screen. The cameras already come paired making it super easy to setup. The cameras have a very strong magnet, it comes with a metal plate (along with screws), which I used when I removed the original camera from RV. No need to use any wires for power, it has the solar panel built in to charge it. The video is very clear while traveling along with night view. As a reference I have a f450 with a 37ft 5th wheel. No issue with signal strength. My only recommendation is to include a suction mount for windshield, that is sold separately. Other than that, it’s a great value. ... show more
