These curtains do exactly what they claim to do in as far as blocking sun and daylight from the room. Despite the darkening quality they are not too heavy to hand. I was able to hang mine with adhesive wall brackets with great results. It took seconds. I definitely recommend this product.

This is the third set of these curtains I have purchased in different colors. The color is beautiful, they arrive, almost wrinkle, free, and they’re fantastic at blocking out the light. Living in Houston, Texas, anything that will help keep the heat out is always a good thing. I highly recommend these curtains and for those people that like to sleep with it dark in their rooms. The color is beautiful .I bought these to finish my Boho Décor in my bedroom .I thought I was buying black out curtains . I guess that was my mistake . I like my bedroom really dark , like a cave , lol . Maybe I misread the sheerness . As you can see , they let a lot of light in . They have been hanging for over a month , AND STILL HAVE WRINKLES . But the color is so pretty &&& they ARE GREAT QUALITY , and match my color choices so well .So I just kept them . If you are looking for sheer curtains , this is a good choice .GREAT QUALITY ! BUT if you want to block out light , don't choose this item .I did find some 100% blackout choices , I will purchase those at a later date . ... show more

These are nice. They hang 4-6" below the bottom of the window and the bright summer sun still shines through between the wall and the bottom of the curtain, so I tuck the bottom of these under the honeycomb blinds and it keeps them room dark. These curtains are holding up very well. All stitches are still in tact after 2 years. I take them down, wash and dry (low to medium heat) them and hang the right back up. I do have a few snags in mine due to the cat wanting in the window when the curtains are drawn, but that is the only sign of wear and tear. When the curtains are pulled to close out the light, that is EXACTLY what the do!!! When it is the hottest days of summer or the coldest days of winter, when I pull the curtains shut, the seem to aid in keeping my air in and the outside temp out. Perfect for bedrooms for nightworkers. Perfect for when you have a migraine and the light bothers you and you need to turn your house into a dungeon! I am unsure how to describe the material, it's not like cotton and it super silky. More like a silky, soft cotton. ... show more
