I can't say how pleased I am with this. I do a few events a year with 300-400 people and had been using the portable event grill that if you are looking at this are probably aware of. I have nothing bad to say about the other grill except after several years of heavy use and transport it was getting very tired and worn. I don't see the same problem with this one. It went together well and I managed to get it together by myself although I would recommend a second person to help with some parts. It is very solid and actually easier to move in the bed of a P/U or small trailer than the old one. Is is very sturdy and proved itself after the first event. Overall grill is nice and works great, big enough to grill lots of food at once! Upon arrival and putting it together, we noticed lots of imperfections, but not damages from transportation. Sheet metal was wrinkled and top side front was bent and appeared to have been straight out, but I noticed it! Called the manufacturer and requested a partial credit or for them to pick up since I didn’t want to take apart. Customer service was no hel at all but finally said they were going to reimburse $15 dollars! What a freaking joke!! I will not buy anything from that company anymore! ... show more

We purchased three of these grills for our companies summer picnic. We wanted something with a lot of grilling space for hamburgers and hot dogs, and the grills did not disappoint us. We had close to 600 attendees and with the three grills firing all at once we were able to get everyone served in a short amount of time. Purchased this product for events as described. Have used this grill 6xs in the last 12 months, brought out last week for an event and could not get the flames past the lowest setting. Grill would not heat up. Pulled everything apart cleaned everything now for the 7th time and still cannot get flames to cook. Called Royal Gourmet customer service 7/15/24 and was told to put in new regulators. After replacing regulators still could not get a flame to cook with. Called Royal Gourmet customer service 7/22/24 and am now being told to replace all 8 valves on the burners. Since grill is no longer under warranty have to also pay for new valves. Explained to customer service rep grill has only been used 6x since purchased. Condition of the grill is perfect, and very little use. Rep informed me that they will not send me new valves and that I have to pay for them. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no, only communication with supervisor is through email. 1. Will never buy another Royal Gourmet Grill 2. Paid over $500.00 for the grill and had to assemble 3. They do not stand behind there product 4. When grill worked everything was great 5. Customer Service is lacking service and the ability to do anything. ... show more
