I have used rowing machines in the gym and they are great for a balanced workout and low impact. But those are beefy and heavy. I do my workouts at home which started when covid happened. I used to run and mess around with various martial arts which I use to beat my way out of paper bags. I'm 78 and I still do tai chi after 40 years. I bought the Wenoker Magnetic Rower to add to my cardio and the all around balanced workout. After all the reviews I read, I got this one and it is quiet like the reviews said and as you can see it takes up little room. The construction and very solid. It is compact. I don't even have to lean it up to walk around the room. Putting it together was very straight forward. The only part to confuse me was putting on the bach cap on the slide. I kept on looking for the 2 screw that hold it on only to find out that they had them already on the slide and not in the packet. My wife uses it now and she loves it also. We have an elliptical and a sitting bike machine and the Wenoker creates a great balance to our workouts. ... show more

Overall I am so pleased with this purchase. I kept going back and forth with whether to spend over $1,000 on a rower that I had my eye on or give this much less expensive rower a chance. So happy that I took the time to read through the reviews and rolled the dice. It is a "basic" rower, which is all I really needed. I didn't want to get roped into buying subscriptions for monthly videos/lessons through the screens that come with some of the machines. I can use my phone or tablet in the provided holder and it works just fine. The absolute best feature of this machine for me is how smooth it is. That was my biggest concern when purchasing a less expensive rower. If it was a bumpy and uncomfortable ride it would be returned by now. I am just so impressed with how quiet and smooth it is. Can't say enough about the comfort level. The resistance levels are excellent as well. There is definitely room to grow with this machine because I'm starting out on level 2 and can see it taking a while to work my way up. That's a good thing...more bang for your buck. I am really happy with this rower machine. It is very easy to assemble, just follow the instruction and use the tools in its bag, very quick to set up. I put it in my living room and exercise when I watch TV. This rowing machine is great for exercising various muscle groups, such as the legs, waist, back, arms, etc. Additionally, the machine is very stable and sturdy, doesn't make much noise. Absolutely in love with this rowing machine. It was easy to put together took less than a half hour. It’s completely silent which makes it possible to work out at any time of the day without disturbing anyone. A birthday present for my husband. But I use it most of the time. I love that I canuse it while my husband and I watch a movie without it making any noise at all. First of all, it arrived by USPS, and our mail carrier struggled to get the 50 pound box to the porch. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is sturdy, but didn't realize how sturdy until I got it. Not hard to put together at all. Very smooth operation and the console gives good feedback on the amount of effort and very other metrics. I broke the part that holds the console together during assembly. Wrote to them and they got back to me within a few hours. The part was on its way to me via Fedex the next day. So very good customer service. Can't compare it to any other rowing machines but for the price point this one seems to be good value. ... show more

For context I'm 5'5 and weigh 235 pounds. This rower is great for me. Its very stable and sturdy. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to finish setting it up in less than an hour. Its surprisngly lightweight and the wheels make it easy for you to move around. When its stored it takes very little room as shown in the image. For the price this cant be beat.
