This unit is heavy! But it arrived in perfect condition and runs like a champ. Easily cools a 500 sq ft apt in a short time with the aid of a fan to blow the cool air into the farthest room. Very satisfied with its 14,000 btu performance. Only drawback is it is quite loud. And its way too cold to sit directly in front of when it's running. But excellent otherwise. This unit is awesome. It’s easy to use and has a remote and I can control it with an app on my phone. The only thing I would add is a thermostat on the app where it shows me what the temp in the room is. I use this in my chicken hut when temps in AZ reach 118 (like yesterday) and I had to buy another appliance to monitor the temperature so I can make sure it’s working properly when my girls are locked in there. It’s a good unit. 4 stars because the wifi won’t let me adjust the temp on a few of the units. Along with that, it doesn’t perfectly regulate the temperature - seems like it will go lower than I set it sometimes. Overall good unit and I like the ability to turn on and off remotely.

This is the 2nd window AC that I have got from ROVSUN, since the first one stopped working after about 6 months. They did send me one free of charge. Now don't get me wrong, they work well when they work, but unless you want to be buying a new one every 2-3 years, I would suggest going with a different brand. I store mine in my house all winter long and clean it out before putting it in storage. So it isn't in the elements all winter long. Had it in my bedroom, and on Eco mode during the summer months so it wouldn't be running all of the time. Also only use it for about 6 months out of the year. Still stopped working after 2 seasons of use. Reached out to ROVSUN for them to tell me that it is past the 1 year quality deadline so there was nothing they could do for me. Also, if you don't drill holes in the bottom of the case, water will build up in the bottom of the shell from the rain and condensation which you will hear from inside when the fan turns on. There are no drain holes in the shell to let the water escape. Remote functionality was nice, but I would rather have a window AC that I would not have to replace every couple years. ... show more

Quick installation. Excellent cooling speed. Built-in automatic ECO friendly setting to help those costly electric bills (can be turned off manually). When on the lowest degree setting, 61, and lowest fan speed, it's practically silent. Old air-conditioning unit needed to be turned off while I had phone conversations in this room, now, not a single complaint from whomever is on the other end of the call. Only issue, my bed sit fairly low to the unit and the blue LED lights on the panel feel brighter than they should be. If you don't face your AC unit, you should be fine. ... show more

I had a smaller one that barely did anything on the highest setting, barely felt it blowing. I got this one (10,000 btu) and it is the best, living in my camper full time it gets really hot during the summer, and this ac unit deals with the heat.
