I am on the fence about whether to keep these. The velvet feels really nice and the texture looks lovely. In the right lighting at night, these olive curtains look gorgeous, but when the sun is coming through them, they look like more of a yellow, puke-y green. They're also not effective as blackout curtains, which is fine considering that I am not using them in my bedroom, but if someone is looking for a true blackout style, this isn't it. ... show more

I was nervous that the green would not match or compliment the greens I already have going in our nursery, but I have to say this is perfect! The curtains are SO soft! The stitching up top could be better here and there because it has white thread (from the backing piece for the rod), maybe they should use the same green instead of white, for the “perfectionist people out there), but overall it’s beautiful for the price! The media could not be loaded. Have to give them credit for being actual emerald green. I ordered different curtains a from another seller but they were dark green vs. Emerald green that I needed. My issue with these is quality. The back of the curtains fabric is already piling and the stitching is driving me insane. For the price they are ridiculous. They look like they were stitched last minute and no care to fabric used. ... show more

I will begin by saying I am a CURTAIN-AHOLIC! I love curtains as much as I love shoes! What prompted me to write this review was the wonderful card I received from the sellers. The quality, fabric and texture are beautiful!! The color is rich and is exactly the blue green described. They do not wrinkle , and very soft to the touch. The other reviewers mentioned that the stitching is done in white thread. But, the pile of the fabric camouflages this defect quite nicely and it is unnoticeable on my drapes. However, the rod pocket was stitched shut and I had to rip out the stitches to hang the drapes on my rod. It was a minor irritant. But should have been caught in the quality control check. The price of such a thick velvet drape, however, was a good deal and why I only took off one star. I am keeping the drapes. There are also no care label on the drapes. I have no idea whether they are machine washable or not. ... show more

The touch of fabric has a beautiful hand, soft with a beautiful nap. I highly recommend these. It took alot of work to steam the wrinkles but worth it. My choice was light green but stunning for Christmas. The gorgeous color changes in various light. I bought two pairs for each side of a bay window. I believe the description saying that it is "sun and noise reducing" lead me to believe these would be similar to block-out curtains with the heat reduction back. I live in Phoenix, Az so that is what I was looking for in some curtains. A little misleading, but they did not say "blackout curtains" or anything. Any curtains will reduce sun and noise, lol. That being said, they are really soft and high-quality velvet. The blue is that beautiful robbin-egg blue, like a sky blue with a hint of teal. Gorgeous! I admittedly have petted these curtains because they are so soft. I won't return them but may line them myself if they do not reduce heat enough during the summer. ... show more
