We traveled from Erie, Pennsylvania to Pensacola, Florida using this cargo carrier. The trip was over 1100 miles, and we drove through several rain storms. There are no holes, rips or tears. There was no water inside the carrier from all of the rain. This carrier held up. I bought a different brand last year, and it ended up developing many holes, tears. I threw that one in the trash. I will be able to use this carrier for future trips. I recommend this carrier. ... show more

It is a very good product, but the zippers need to be made better the first couple days, I had it, the zipper got off the track and I could not get it back on the track, otherwise it had great space, it was very easy to get into easy to install, it was very waterproof because nothing got in there to my knowledge. We traveled 800 miles with this on our roof and had no issues. We stored 3 suitcases and some random items in it. It seemed to work best when everything is evenly distributed in the bag so the straps can tighten evenly. We did do a test run prior to our travels and it withstood a major rainstorm with no leaking. Box wasn’t damaged nothing seemed wrong with it then when we got to our destination come to find out there were scratches all across the top which let water get into the inside completely soaking everything inside. Not very happy
