How to Install? Clean your car rooftop; Place the cargo bag on your car top; Unzip the bag and load cargo in. Place heavy, large objects first and then lighter items on the top, creating compact load (Don't place sharp objects); Close the zipper and fold the flap to cover the entire zipper; Capacity: 21 Cubic Feet Loading weight: less than the load bearing of the car rooftop Dimension: 51”x 41”x 17” ( 130x 105x 45cm) L WH Note: Please turn the sealed side (the side without zipper) toward the front of the car. This worked great for us! The directions were clear and I attached the carrier and filled it up the night before our trip to Florida. We have a carport so I felt like it was safe. It was about 300 miles to our destination . There was no rain but it secured tightly so I don’t think there would have been a problem. I stood on a chair to make loading and unloading easier. My husband had to help with lifting the suitcases up and down as I have a hurt arm. I could get the smaller and lighter items. When leaving I packed it up in the morning before we left not wanting anything to get stolen or vandalized. Luckily there were chairs available so I could reach the top. We were fortunate that it was shipped overnight for FREE! I didn’t realize how badly we would need it since we were carrying our pets (a cat and a min pin) in their crates. We definitely couldn’t have taken everything without it! There was no noise or slipping and it made or trip comfortable! Be sure to read the instructions. Purchased this carrier last-minute when the larger vehicle we'd planned to drive from CA to MT for our son's wedding ended up in the shop with transmission problems. We then had to make due with a smaller car, while transporting three adults and LOTS of wedding supplies, so we purchased this carrier in hope it would save the day. Planned to stow all of our luggage atop the roof and it ended up working out very well. The product video was helpful and, although having a low sedan would have made things much easier (as depicted in the video), the installation and loading was still very doable on our small SUV. At one point, we did hit some rain, and all of the contents remained perfectly dry. The only negative is that you will never be able to fold and pack the carrier in the storage bag provided. I really wanted to give this five stars, but because of how difficult the straps are, I can only give it four. It’s a really nice, spacious cargo carrier. The only downfall to it is the straps. They are not easy at all to tighten. You have to completely undo them in order to tighten it at all, and you have to pull extremely hard. We traveled from Florida to Tennessee and ran into rain a few times. Everything inside the carrier stayed dry. So if you don’t mind the extra work and time for the straps, it’s a good buy! ... show more

Our carrier held up better than expected in multiple downpouring rainfalls all the way to Florida. When we got to our destination the carrier only had a cupful of water inside, which was not a big deal since our luggage was dry inside the suitcases. My 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz is too new for dealers to carry accessories, such as the rails to mount a rooftop carrier, or a cargo area factory tonneau cover. I've improvised by using your MCBD bag. It fits perfectly inside the bed of the truck to keep our valuables waterproof.

    • Okay item, but several flaws that would prevent us from being repeat customers.
Size: A-21 CBFT-ROOF-BLUE
The idea of this soft rooftop carrier is great, but we encountered numerous issues with the carrier. This first issue that we encountered were the straps. They cannot be tightened on our 2016 Toyota Sienna and the carrier was not taut enough. I resorted to wrapping and tying the straps to the rooftop railings in order to get them snug enough to not fly off while travelling. The video does not really address this and makes it seem easier than it really is, so be cautious when tying this down. Second issue was the lock that comes with the carrier. Once we created a combination for the lock, it would not close even with the combination all lined up. It appears there was a welded piece of metal that prevented it from closing and locking properly. I ended up using another lock from a previous storage facility that was heavier and more durable to lock the zippers together. This third issue was the fact that this carrier was not in the slightest bit water proof. We made sure the zippers were together and off to the side rather than in the front. We also made sure the Velcro flaps were all lined up and sealed properly. When we drove through a small shower in MS (not a heavy downpour), we stopped and checked on the luggage located inside the carrier and found nearly all items were soaked. The same occurred on our way home and we had to drive through some intense rains (luckily we prepared for it and placed items we could live with getting wet), when we arrived home there was about a half inch of standing water inside the carrier. All-in-all, with the carrier not flying off despite the strap issues, being lucky to have an extra lock to keep our items secured and with our luggage and various items drenched from rains, I would say to find another rooftop carrier that is probably pricier, but more reliable. You get what you pay for and this certainly was the case with this rooftop carrier. Sadly after reading all the positive reviews and looking for the negative reviews to see what to expect as for some potential issues, none stated what we encountered. Perhaps there was a defect in ours and that is why we had some many problems. Hopefully the manufacturers will read this and address the issues we encountered. ... show more
