A friend of a friend had something like this and my kiddo wanted one so bad. She’s five, but tall and too big for the little ride on they have. So I couldn’t say no. This thing is so cool. It uses balance skills. It goes fast. It turns pretty sharp. All and all, major success. Easy to learn and easy to recharge. Holds charge pretty good too. For under $200 it’s amazing. This thing worked for less than two weeks, exactly 3 times my grandson got to ride it. It's a great little ride on toy, but on his third ride, it just quit. The lights come on, but the motor doesn't work. We think the drive broke, because the wheel spins freely, whereas out of the box the wheel would barely move by hand. Their only fix was a new pedal switch, but that did nothing but make the wings not come out. Customer service is nice, but not really helpful, because it's been two months since it quit, and they're still "out of stock" on replacements after two months. They did offer a refund, I may accept that, but I'll still be out $60 for the extra insurance I paid for. It's not 'giftable' because it's disappointing to give a gift that's so fun but breaks so easily. What a waste of money. I want to believe they'll make it right, I'll update if anything changes. ... show more

My kids love these, as do their friends. I'm coming back to rate these now bc so few reviews actually tell you about durability/quality over time. The chargers unfortunately both broke, some of it due to yanking, but the product support is great!

My 6 year old loves it. It's a good speed without seeming out of control. Complaints: I wish the flag was taller and larger. It's maybe half an inch above my child's helmet so it doesn't add much safety wise. Second complaint, in order to charge it you have to remove the seat, which has a plastic unlocking button that is impossible for my son to turn himself and plugging into the charger is also not as simple as it could be. My son can't do that part on his own either. But overall for the price, it's great! ... show more

My grandchild really loves this . It did not take him long to be able to balance it. It was easy to put together but the flag will not stay in. There was a piece that was broken off.
