Okay, so this is my first purchase of luggage. I've never really traveled or had need for luggage before, but I knew I wanted something that stood out against all the black, red, and purple luggage I saw the one and only time I flew. I scoured the internet for something bright but at least somewhat affordable and came across this set. I read the reviews and noticed they were a little back and forth but went ahead and risked it anyway. Here's what I thought. If you're looking for something that can be completely beat up while traveling without a single sign of tear and wear, then you probably don't want to order this luggage. However, if you take into consideration that you're getting a four piece set for $100 and that it's going to get beat up, it's not a bad deal. I used the largest suitcase to travel to Las Vegas from Detroit for my wedding. The luggage itself actually help up really well. I didn't have anything torn or anything like that. Only down side was now I realize why people get dark luggage. You can totally see everywhere my luggage touched on the conveyors and what not. It's pretty dirty looking, but it's just dirt. You can sort of tell the cheapness to the luggage when you open it, but honestly, for $100 for a four piece set, it was 100% worth it in my opinion. It protected my stuff and got it moved safely back and forth and that's all I needed it to do. Plus now I can use the smaller ones for traveling by car to see family. I would definitely recommend this to people who want something that isn't just the same boring suitcase everyone else has. However, for those of you who travel a TON by plane and need something that's going to really last you, I'm not sure how well this would work out. I ordered this set for my mother as she had never actually owned a set of luggage. I got her the navy with yellow trim, which is attractive and appropriate for a Michigan Wolverines fan. She loves it.

Not well made the zippers are already messing up but I am just using them to pack and move pretty much so they definitely serve the purpose. Don't expect nice expensive stuff cuz they're not going to be that but they are everything the ad promises.

They seem durable, they look good it is the color I wanted, they expand well and hold a lot. I am currently using the carry on bag as my toiletry bag because I ordered a toiletry bag and it never showed up and the carry on works great as a toiletry bag. The lock is a joke I took them off and left them at my house it's like a child's diary play lock they don't weigh much at all. Now the cons. The handles that extend out seem week and flimsy like they will break any minute, the bags don't stand up well because how the wheels are and the zippers like to stick and when I got the luggage the zipper things were closed but the zippers teeth were separated (if that makes sense) all in all I am happy I got these when I did because if I got them a few days later I would have been pissed that I spent money on them. I am currently at the airport (I bought this set specifically so I could have luggage for this trip) and one of the most frustrating issues I've had is that the carry on size is very unstable. It's fallen over (toward the front) even though I strapped my laptop to the very bottom/back, which should have put the center weight closer to being over the wheels. The largest bag however seemed much more sturdy. It was able to stand independently, so no problems there. I did bring the smallest toiletry bag, but packed it in the big bag, because I had full size soaps etc in it... but it was super flimsy feeling. There is a small cardboard like part for the bottom, but it doesn’t cover the entire bottom. It seems to be water proof inside and I really wish it had an additional inside compartment just because I've had shampoo bust in my bag before and it's a nightmare trying to everything when that happens. The only other thing I wish, is that there were straps to pull multiple pieces together. It was really difficult to pull both and try to get checked in, especially when one bag is constantly falling over. Overall, I definitely thing it's more than worth the cost, but I just had surgery a month ago, and the squats are a bit much. ... show more
