  • easy and fun way to make your own guitar picks
Color: Blue
I ordered this pick punch largely just out of curiosity. What I received greatly exceeded my expectations. This punch arrives nicely boxed along with the pick pouch and some sample cards to punch picks from. The punch itself feels hefty, sturdy, and very well-made. The bottom of the punch has a rubber cover that can be easily removed and replaced, and there is a pick-shaped hole in the rubber base so you can see exactly how your punch is lined up with the card you are using, making it easy to capture a particular design on the pick. I used it to punch out a couple of picks from an expired credit card, and it worked great. There was very minimal roughness on the edges that was easily smoothed off with a nail file. The punched pick works out every bit as well as any store bought pick I've used. I will never throw away expired debit and credit cards again. If you play guitar with a pick, you will get a lot of use and have a lot of fun with this gadget. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great for the budding artist
Color: Black/Original Strips
My 14 y/o grandson decided to take up the guitar this past year and I was wracking my brain on what to get him for Christmas that he didn't already have. My daughter recommended this product and he loves it. He's not only been making picks for himself but several of his friends at school. He made his debut as the only freshman band member to ever play a rock solo at the Homecoming game this year - all played with the pick made from this kit. Very durable and fun. ... show more

  • Vinyl record guitar picks
Color: Black/Original Strips
This item is very well made, and can cut through vinyl records with no problem. If you get this item to make your own vinyl record picks, you need to heat it up so the vinyl won’t crack. But other than that I recommend this product! It’s amazing quality, works well, and the picks do not disappoint. It comes with a guitar pick holder, a file, and some sample plastics to work with. ... show more

  • Love it! FUN! And I’ll never BUY picks again
Color: Black/Original Strips
Okay, the plastic strips you get with it are pretty heavy and stiff, if you like picks like that or play bass, they’re fine, but myself, I’ve fell in love with the cutter and find all kinds of random stuff that hits the recycle bin that make great picks, try the plastic cover sheets on paper notebooks, try the flat side of large detergent bottles , even the clear plastic used in most random product , blister packaging. Finish the edges with the supplied file or pick up a package of Emory boards . I’ve even used old ID and credit cards, pretty cool to have a pic with my Drivers license photo on it or a pick with a gold scanner chip. My niece laminates dried flowers from the lawn between two really thin ones. They’re beautiful! Have fun, and oh, for beginner musicians , it makes an awesome stocking stuffer. ✌🏾 ... show more

  • Great product and excellent customer service!
Color: Blue
I received the pick-a-palooza guitar pick punch before the estimated arrival date. It works very well; it has easily punched through everything I wanted to use for pick material. You can easily see exactly what you are punching out through the punch hole in the bottom. It comes with good quality material/strips with which to begin making picks, as well as a nice, leather, pick-holding keychain. The strips are nice and thick and make cool picks, and the keychain will easily hold 5-6 picks. I also purchased additional pick-a-palooza guitar pick pack custom strips, which comes with a nice variety of colors. All of the strips are great colors/designs and good quality as well. I must say that I also received excellent customer services from Equipt4! I had noticed a $3 savings offer for the purchase of the pick-a-palooza guitar pick punch and the custom strips. Upon checking out, I completely forgot to enter the necessary code to get $3 off. When I received a friendly follow-up e-mail from Equipt4, I replied regarding my satisfaction with the product and happened to mention that I had forgotten to enter the necessary code for the savings. Within 24 hrs, I received another e-mail from Amazon and Equipt4 stating that I had a $3 refund. I am very pleased with the pick-a-palooza products and the customer services. I would highly recommend both. ... show more

  • works great

It is kind of fun punching guitar picks out of old credit cards. Works great. The punch could be a little less expensive though, I mean its just a guitar pick punch.

Practical yet creative gift! Teen just learning to play his first guitar loved it. I can also see this as a cool demonstration or science fair project, comparing the sounds from pics made of different materials
