  • Put the boom in my son's jeep!
This sounds great in my son's jeep. He wasn't even excited about it for Christmas until he heard it now all his friends want one. Plenty of boom just like my old system but all in one bundle!!!!!

  • Easy Install, Plenty of Bass for the Money
I installed this myself in my 2018 Camry XSE. I’m not an expert by any means but if you have any car audio knowledge, it’s a fairly easy install. I purchased a Rockford Fosgate 8 gauge amp kit (way better quality than the Boss garbage I had in my 07 Camry SE) and the Toyota Camry Add A Subwoofer Harness from Taco Tunes so I didn’t have to splice into any wires from the factory radio. Hardest part of the install was finding a ground to use. I ended up using one of the bolts that held the back seat to the actual car. You also don’t need a line out converter to connect it to the factory radio because the amp accepts high level input, and it doesn’t need a remote wire because it can automatically turn on when it detects audio from the RCAs. I also love the quick disconnects for if I need to take the enclosure out for more trunk space. I’m not an audiophile at all but I wanted to add some more bass to the stock sound system. I listen primarily to hip hop/rap and for one 12” it hits pretty hard. With the bass knob turned halfway up, it vibrates the entire car and from the outside you can hear the trunk rattling. Coming from two 12”s in my previous Camry which was a little too much for me, I think this is the perfect amount of bass added. ... show more

  • Hits hard for a powered sub
Installed in a 2015 subaru outback with HK sound system and let me just say DAMN.. this thing slaps. Kinda boomy style bass but rattles my rearview pretty solid. Easy install took a day because we wanted to do a super clean install. Tapped into the speakers at the HK amp under passenger seat so only had to take off 4 pieces of panel. No remote wire or rca connections to the stereo makes the install insanely easy. I listen to a lot of hiphop and edm, this sub is loud as hell 😂 definitly recommend for anyone in a hatchback or wagon that wants some solid bass that is easy to diy. Also I got it for $120 off through this amazon deal so it was a steal of a deal for me! ... show more

  • Hits hard
I have it under the seat of my 2012 f150 crewcab. Powered by a kenwood head unit and 6x8 4 way pioneer speakers. This sub sounds great and hits hard at low, mid, and high volume. But if you're looking for something to flex the body panels of your car and be heard loud outside the vehicle this ain't it. It dosen't have enough power and woofer excursion to produce competition quality sound and volume. And that's not what it's expected to do. For a all in one quality answer to great powerful bass it's definitely a great buy. However I'm looking for somthing louder and deeper bass so I'll be upgrading to a set of 8" Sundown subs in a larger ported box powered by a 1200 watt Skar amp ... show more

  • Great Box & Amp
I bought this box in the middle of March. It did die out around the end of April, but RF replaced it and it has worked great ever since. I have a small car and it gives my car a lot of thump for sure. Super clean low bass, high bass not as clean when you really push it but I mean for 1000 watt amp and 1 12 inch sub it most certainly hits hard. ... show more

  • Fantastic sub for stock audio systems
This sub packs a punch. It adds great depth and bass for your casual listening. And don’t worry about bothering the neighbors, you can turn the subs volume down with the bass knob, but the bass is also contained within the vehicle. The car will shake and rattle but there’s other ways to fix that. Over all I LOVE this sub. Great for the price as well ... show more

  • This thing has BALLS!
I have my gain like barely on and it pounds my SUV. I am a distortion freak so I have my gains very low, bass boost very high and the actually stereo bass control 0. The control goes from -10 to +10. I wired it using a speaker to RCA box that it needed and wired it to my factory subwoofers under my seats (Genesis GV80 Prestige/ Lexicon System). If I turn my gain up it gets really distorted mainly due to vibrations happening in the SUV. This isn’t 500watts. It’s 1000watts. This is no joke. Recommend. ... show more

  • Basis knob was defective
Bass knob was defective. Box isn't great construction. I installed it in the dark. I went with this speaker because I didn't want to rattle my car, barely adds any bass over factory beats by dre drivers. You can easily get more bass for 500 if you do your own setup. You still do the majority of wiring yourself. Each corner was like this when installing. ... show more
