The Rockville RV12.2B Dual 12" 1200 Watt Vented subwoofer enclosure is one of the best bass all-in-one subwoofer packages we ever carried. This package is better than others on the market. This system includes a top of the line ported enclosure which gives you more punchy and better sounding bass. The vents were strategically placed on the bottom of the enclosure and then the enclosure is placed at a 15 degree angle to fire the bass out hard and give you amazing sound quality. This package also includes a mono block bass amplifier vs. Most packages that have a 2 Channel stereo amplifier. This mono amplifier is built just for loud bass. The amplifier is CEA-2006 compliant so you can be 100% sure you will get the power you expect. This is one of the only packages on the market that is CEA-2006 compliant. Most brands are unable to do this because they inflate their power ratings.

Whent with the duel 12's. Installed in 2014 Corolla with factory HU that doesn't support RCA hookup. I hooked the remote to the ACC fuse under the steering wheel so the amp is only on with the car running. I chose not to use the high input provided hook up. Don't forget a LOC or stop by your local audio shop and pick one up for about $30 if you don't have RCA hookup on your HU. Tapped LOC into the rear speaker to use the RCA cables. Took about 2.5 weeks to break in with gain set to 1/2. I'm not trying to wake up the neighborhood but certainly can. These things are a solid buy. ordered this for my 16 year old son with his summer job money 2 weeks ago. shipped quickly and i wasnt expecting much for $200. box is top notch, install is easy in a jeep commander. amp seems to be decent quality, but the subs are trash. one blew in a week. wanted a partial refund to order higher quality speakers but company wanted me to send complete setup back for any refund. any idea how hard that is? i did not keep original packaging. local stereo shop hard a hard time tuning amp and told me that the speakers were very low quality. so consider that for $219 you will get a really nice ported box as a base point, that still smells funny also. will see how the amp works with Kickers that i bought to replace the paperweight subs that came with system. but i do expect to toss amp soon also. gladly bought the Kickers from best buy. ... show more

This was a pretty simple job to do, subs and amplifier works perfectly no problems, you might be intimidated by the price of the subs, but for the price it has amazing quality and is also performance.     • decent subs, however amp overheats

The subs work pretty well, however I started to use the amp that came with the kit to run the subs. It overheated after 45mins of casual use and died. It did turn back on after a while and it did fix itself, however it still overheats pretty bad. Previous Review: I bought these for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. I was honestly expecting a boomy subwoofer that didnt sound too good - but to my suprise these acually sounded very pleasant. The only downside Id say about these is the volume decreases by quite a bit below 50hz, and the subs struggle to produce sound below 40hz - so its not the best for extremely low lows; but for everything else, it performed very well.
