The Rockville RV12.2B Dual 12" 1200 Watt Vented subwoofer enclosure is one of the best bass all-in-one subwoofer packages we ever carried. This package is better than others on the market. This system includes a top of the line ported enclosure which gives you more punchy and better sounding bass. The vents were strategically placed on the bottom of the enclosure and then the enclosure is placed at a 15 degree angle to fire the bass out hard and give you amazing sound quality. This package also includes a mono block bass amplifier vs. Most packages that have a 2 Channel stereo amplifier. This mono amplifier is built just for loud bass. The amplifier is CEA-2006 compliant so you can be 100% sure you will get the power you expect. This is one of the only packages on the market that is CEA-2006 compliant. Most brands are unable to do this because they inflate their power ratings.

I’ve dealt with subs for about ten years now. These keep up with everything I’ve ever heard. I got an open box, so I only paid about 150 bucks for the whole setup, but, I gotta say I’d pay the full price for it. The amp is great, the subs hit hard, and the controller is a good add on.     • BEST DEAL IN CAR AUDIO!!
I was skeptical of these since they are so cheap but after watching some reviews on YouTube I decided to try them. I ended up getting the dual 12’s and they l sounded pretty good when I first got them in but don’t forget to tune the amp AND your head unit. I have the gain up 3/4 the way and everything else maxed out or off completely. The really good sound came from tuning my head unit, turning the speaker level up the bass boost on max and playing with the mix between bass to vocals I got the exact sound I wanted. Would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone who is on the fence about these. (I have them in a 97 ls400 fits pretty well in the trunk as long as you don’t mind giving up the space.) ... show more

    • Subs are poor quality
ordered this for my 16 year old son with his summer job money 2 weeks ago. shipped quickly and i wasnt expecting much for $200. box is top notch, install is easy in a jeep commander. amp seems to be decent quality, but the subs are trash. one blew in a week. wanted a partial refund to order higher quality speakers but company wanted me to send complete setup back for any refund. any idea how hard that is? i did not keep original packaging. local stereo shop hard a hard time tuning amp and told me that the speakers were very low quality. so consider that for $219 you will get a really nice ported box as a base point, that still smells funny also. will see how the amp works with Kickers that i bought to replace the paperweight subs that came with system. but i do expect to toss amp soon also. gladly bought the Kickers from best buy. ... show more

Just got them and put them in and they slap the amp gets a little hot but for 200 can’t beat that at all.

    • Misleading Advertising, but still works well
TLDR: Misleading Advertising Only 200 Watts RMS, not 400 1200W Peak is a number that doesn't tell you anything useful, RMS is the actual constant power rating to compare to other subwoofers. Good Value Good for people new to subwoofers Easy to install Full Review: First of all, the subs and all work fairly well. Going into these not knowing anything, I liked them, but now upgrading my setup, I did more research, and these are very misleading on their advertising. The amplifier is rated as follows: RMS: 200W @ 4 Ohms; 400W @ 2 Ohms Peak: 1200W --> Doesn't matter, it's a dumb number that you don't need to think about. It is not possible to achieve the 400W @ 2 Ohms, as the subwoofers cannot be wired down to 2 Ohms. The subwoofers are 8 Ohm SVC subwoofers. This means that the subwoofers can only be wired to 4 Ohms resistance, which the amplifier can only put out 200W at. These sub are likely rated for 200W RMS and 600W Peak each. There's also a lot of useless information advertised and a lack of useful info, such as not advertising the Resonant Frequency. Now if you're looking for a subwoofer kit that's easy to install and still gets any bass virgins feeling some thumps, this works great. It's also still pretty well worth the money for what it actually is. They're not necessarily lying at any point in their description, they're just being misleading. If you're looking for something good quality and reputable, this ain't it chief. ... show more
