I got this to replace a LaCrosse Internet-connected projection clock that never worked right, including battery backup. This ROCAM clock does almost everything I want. The brightness of the clock display and the projection are independently adjustable in multiple levels, and the dimmest setting for the clock display is quite readable at night without keeping me awake. The projected time can be flipped 180 degrees, and the whole projector swings over a wide arc to reposition the display. The one annoyance, which is common to almost all of these projection clocks, is that if you place the clock on a bedside table, as one might expect, and you're lying in bed, the time is at right angles to your view. This is one thing the LaCrosse got right - if perhaps the only thing. I'd love to see a button to rotate the display in 90-degree increments. I can live with this, but don't understand why it is a common issue. The alarm features have many loudness levels, two alarms, and you can set it to have different alarm times for weekdays and weekends. While it does not automatically change for daylight saving, there is a button that will shift the time an hour for DST. I don't use the nightlight feature, which shines from the bottom of the clock, and appreciate that this can be turned off (it also has two brightness settings.) The room temperature and humidity, as well as the date, are displayed. There is no option for a remote temperature sensor. ... show more

I love this clock. The red numbers don't keep me awake at all and the ceiling projection is decently adjustable. I was a little bummed that the numbers can't be rotated -- only flipped, but I can live with that. It has kept accurate time and not needed any adjustment for months.

Overall I like the clock but it is too bright for me (even after adjusting) & the projection the is HUGE.. So I guess it could double as a nightlight. My last clock projected the temperature onto the ceiling along with the time- this one only shows it on the clock itself.

I bought this for my husband and I’s room, and we LOVE it! The light is not too bright when it interrupts your sleep, but is perfect and can see in all lightings. This clock is super simple to use and the alarm sounds arent like others that are annoying. I would 10/10 recommend this product to anyone. Over the years I've had many alarm clocks and the dim was always too bright. I found myself putting tint over them just to get them dark enough. This clock is perfect in brightness levels and functionality. It has a cool little night light on the snooze button and allows you to independently control the clock brightness and the projector brightness.
