This alarm clock meets all expectations. It works well, is loud, and the projection feature is impressive. The clock projection has functional settings and operates on a swivel, allowing you to adjust the dial for better focus. There's a button on the back that flips the projection so it appears correctly. The two-alarm settings are particularly useful if you don't have a set schedule, as they allow you to set two different alarm times. One feature that would improve this alarm clock is a date display or an option to show the day of the week in the projection. But I suppose you can't have everything you want. One downside is that the speaker can distort if the alarm is set to maximum volume. It could also be a bit louder if the speaker was a bit better, so I definitely wouldn't recommend this clock for heavy sleepers. ... show more

This is a quality product. I accidentally choose the white numbers rather than the red, but I decided to keep because the display can be dimmed. I'm extremely sensitive to light in the bedroom, and I'm fine with it dimmed. 1. The vibrating puck is great. I leave mine on the wood floor. It clatters and wakes me up. I'm a deep, deep sleeper who regularly sleeps through alarms if tired. This has not failed to wake me one time. 2. The battery back-up is great if you need to change the outlet you're using. 3. The projected clock is nice, and you can only tell it's there if you're looking for it. It's also dimmable. I wish I had purchased this sooner. It's putting my expensive sunrise alarm clock to shame. ... show more

I highly recommend this clock for those of you who like to lay in bed and get instant access to time without having to twist and turn and adjust a table clock in order to read the time. This little clock projects the time right on the bedroom ceiling, or if you prefer wall. This clock is very easy to set, both time and alarm features; and if you are Military like me, you can set time to project the 24-hour mode. The time projector can be shut off if you prefer to do so. It took a few nights to adjust the brightness on the clock face and on the ceiling projection, but once we got the light level adjusted its been awesome. We replaced an old digital clock with this one, so it's a total upgrade. We also gave one to the kids for Christmas. The kids liked it so much, we decided to replace that old one of ours. You need to have it just so on your nightstand so it projects on the ceiling in a way you can read it. The first night, I had the clock feature way too bright, but I got that adjusted by the next night.
