The media could not be loaded. This car is 100% one of the best toys that I’ve bought for the kids and the cheapest. I see a lot of reviews about the steering wheel not staying on which I also had this issue for about a minute. The provided tool has 2 holes at the top where you need to stick a screwdriver through those holes and use it to tighten the steering wheel. If the car is not working right, it’s because you did not build it right. All you have to do is put the wheels on the right way and then tighten the steering wheel with the provided tool using a screwdriver. The car does not come with any mallet or any other tool besides the one to tighten the steering wheel. This is by far the easiest thing I’ve ever put together and the kids absolutely love it. My kiddo loves this rider and, thus, the purchase. The product was really easy to assemble but, now most of the time when I lift the rider for cleaning purposes, the steering wheel comes off and refixing sometimes leads to misalignment with the wheel. It's a bit of a pain but I wouldn't complain much comparing quality and prices of other wiggle rides available. ... show more

OK! I was looking for something fun outside for the grandkids. The price was right so I picked out a couple of them. The kids were 1, 3, and 6 when received last Christmas. There are several points I’m going to make about why this is getting returned but I’ll start with the one that renders it impossible to use. I’m very adept at putting things together and following instructions. While it appears from some reviews that theirs came with the rubber mallet that the instructions say is critical; ours did NOT come with that. Luckily I have just about every kind of tool including my own set of socket wrenches which I hoped would resolve the fact that the little metal tool they included did NOTHING to tighten the bolt on the steering wheel. Despite having better tools for the job, the bolt wouldn’t tighten at all and no matter what we do the handle comes right off every time. I’m not putting my 3 year old grandchild on this. When my kids were young we had the REAL plasma car which they loved and have all talked about it being a favorite from childhood. Will be returning this and getting a plasmacar. Lots of reviews indicated the handle comes off and unfortunately I didn’t see those until I came back looking for any solution to get this thing put together. They also indicate problems with the wheels (we wouldn’t know as we did not get to that point of use). Some even indicate that the wheels that come with it don’t work but that they got the “upgraded wheels” and installed them and they’re great. I personally don’t feel like buying upgraded wheels should be necessary for it to work right. Also, people who got two at the same time mention one being able to be put together and the other they could not. But I am curious why some people seem to be able to get the handle to attach while others don’t. To me that indicates that there is not uniformity in these products and you don’t know what you’re going to get… so don’t bother. ... show more
