The media could not be loaded. I got this number buddy for my nephews first birthday, he loves it! It's very safe with the straps that are easily adjustable to the child's size. It doesn't go too fast and when it does bump into items it doesn't jolt the child, it's a gentle bump. The music that comes with it is also super fun! He is too young to use the joy sticks but we tested them and they work great. It doesn't run great on rugs, it moves but very slowly. We haven't tried it outside yet since we live n New England and it's cold out, but I'm excited to try it in the driveway! I recently purchased this Bumper Car for my 1 and a half year old grandson, and it has been an absolute hit! He loves it and can operate it himself with ease. The design is clearly well-thought-out for young children, making it intuitive and fun for him to use. We primarily use the Bumper Car inside the house, and I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it glides over our area rugs. There's no struggling or getting stuck, which means more uninterrupted playtime for my grandson. We also took it outside once, and it performed wonderfully there too. My daughter is obsessed with her bumper car. She walks over to it and turns it on, so we know she’s ready to ride. We drive her around both inside and outside, and we never have any problems with it getting stuck or slowing down. Such an awesome gift! She could spend hours on it.

Worked great at first. Now the the sticks have gone out, it drives by itself when in remote only mode with no batteries in the remote, and several other little problems. Not sure if it's fixable or not but it doesn't run at all now. A year in a half life span. Not bad. Music is annoying asf though.

I was a little worried (still am honestly) about some of the reviews saying they've had trouble with the bumper and/or remote after some usage. So far we haven't had any problems, and that's with a very rough toddler randomly turning it on for hours just to hear the music. We've only charged it once, the day before Xmas and it is still going strong today, 12/28. Our 2yo toddler loves it, and although she can't steer very well she practices her a** off trying. I believe within a couple of weeks, she will have learned how to navigate around, and between the rooms, properly. She loves it when we steer for her, via the remote, the most. Note: Arrived on time. Batteries for the remote are needed, so be prepared. It was ready to ride straight out of the box outside of putting a few pieces together, but we charged it for a couple of hours before Xmas morning and it zoomed around the house. It comes with shiny silver stickers to decorate the base (we spelled out baby's name with plenty of stickers left). The music is kind of loud (not annoying if you're used to kids and toys and having a blast) but it has a sliding button to turn it off. There is also another switch that allows for remote control only driving, if the little one isn't capable themselves. The older kids wanted to ride so bad, as did I lol, so I hope with all hope that the company designs and creates a midsized and adult sized version for the whole family to enjoy. 10/10- I will update as time goes on. ... show more
