This is approaching hobby grade, for under $200 there are many components on this one that you don't see at this price point, From the brushless motor to the HUGE 11.1V, 2200mAh 3S battery, to the all metal gear train. So I have written a lot of reviews on various types of RC trucks and cars - this one really impresses me. The product itself will include the vehicle, RC controller, battery and traditional USB charger. I would like to have see it come with two batteries - but you would be able to track them down here on Amazon to increase your driving time. The truck itself appears well built and features an LED light bar in thr front which makes it easier to see the vehicle in the evening or during low light conditions. The vehicle is able to negotiate a wide variety of obstacles and terrain - I have spent plenty of time with it in the backyard trying to beat it up. This vehicle is suitable for younger drivers or adults a like - I think the price point is pretty close to what I would expect for a vehicle of this quality. 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park, PERFECT BUY! 4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot. 3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised. 2 Stars = A little scary, but do your research and it may work out. 1 Stars = Avoid this product and look elsewhere. All of my reviews are based on actual use of the product. The media could not be loaded. This RC car is absolutely awesome and has a limited slip. It's built very well. It has a brushless motor it has a steel bottom. It's upgradable. There's a website you can go to and get all the upgraded parts for it. It's ready to run out of the box. All you got to do is get two AA batteries and you're ready. Super fun to drive. I really like this car very much. I highly recommended car. I'm just a big RC nut worth every penny build quality is awesome ... show more

I couldn’t wait for this truck to be released and was one of the first to order it directly from Rlaarlo the night it went on sale. Had to wait three weeks to get it from China but I’m very happy to see it’s exactly what I thought it was. Very fast almost uncontrollable little truck/truggy. Unfortunately the first run ten minutes in and at only 75% I lost it and flipped end over end two times. Whenever I tried to continue it just went around in circles. I walked to the truck to discover the cvd snapped right where it connects to the wheel and was unfixable without parts. One downside to buying a rc car right when it comes out is first they haven’t perfected the building and quality control and second there’s no upgrades available on parts yet. Rlaarlo is doing the right thing and sending me a new cvd/axle but now I have to wait for it from bfe China for no telling how long. Ten minutes and then wait three weeks again? Kind of takes the fun out of the excitement I was feeling when I received it. But if this cvd last longer and I don’t lose another one I’ll still be happy. Great looking, fast, lots of metal parts and should be fun if itll stay on the road for longer than ten minutes. Price point is awesome. This is what the Arrma Granite Grom should have been like instead of a brushed motor and system. Arrma had better watch out if this truck gets good reviews and parts availability becomes better. Especially aftermarket upgraded parts. Arrma grom: underpowered and not much fun factor. Traxxas E-revo: overpriced and expensive parts (plus they bully other manufacturers). Rlaarlo: Still to be seen but they have multiple rc lines that are getting mostly good reviews and quality is improving. This truck has the potential to be the best rc vehicle of 2024 if it improves quality on the most likely broken parts and stands behind their warranty and takes care of the customers like they have with me so far. Can’t wait to fix it and start bashing again! UPDATE: I’m now being told that the cvd’s are out of stock a week after I was told they were being sent out. I do lots of YouTube reviews on rc cars and can’t even finish this one yet because I can’t get parts. Pitiful that I can buy a new car here on Amazon and get it in two days but the company can’t provide or have in stock enough parts to fix what I’ve paid for. I should’ve waited and bought this car on Amazon so that I could return it for a full refund. Took review down to two stars now because of the way Rlaarlo is handling the situation and should just replace the whole truck if they can’t get the parts in a reasonable amount of time. ... show more
