This thing RIPS! I only have ran it on a 2s lipo and it’s super quick on 3s it’ll turn into a beast I’m sure. Rips through decently tall and thick grass. The transmitter has throttle trim so you can turn down for the kiddos or turn it all the way up for adults to bash. It’s a wheelie monster as well. First off, I bought this rc car to help get my 6 month old lab puppy some more exercise during the day, figured if it was as cheap as it is and would last a little while why not try it. Now it has became our morning tradition. When I was younger I was into the bigger name RC cars such as traxxas and constantly remember working on it. Not with this car! This car is simply impressive! It’s very fast for its size and somewhat out of control off road all the time that makes it fun to drive. Between crashing, dog bites and just thrashing I haven’t broke a single part yet! It wheelies on command and the 4wd makes it a blast off road and in some snow/ice. No where does it state the electric’s are waterproof so be hesitant around water but has held up just fine in the snow so far. Easiest way to clean it is to hit it with compressed air every time you’re done driving it. If anyone is on the fence about buying it. Just do it! It’s a blast! ... show more

I did like this thing at first, it was fast as you would want 1/14 on 2s, crazy on 3s doing bunny hops against the wheelie bar. it seems like it was good quality but, ill just go over the issues I had, first it doesn't matter how much you tighten the wheel nuts the wheel nuts always come undone, they are to small for the power it has. diffs blew up within a week, screws were loose backed out, rear knuckle broke, kinda my fault kinda thin in that area, shattered the input pinion on the rear, have no idea how. electronics were everywhere just like everyone else's, I swapped the esc place with the radio worked well. so besides the electronics which live in a different car now and are great, did not stay together, the hbx trucks are still tough as nails even after a skate park. 2 stars because it was kinda fun when it worked, if you wanna fix it croboll parts work not wl toys ... show more

Great truck my first Rlaarlo and so far haven't been disappointed. Only reason not a 5-star rating was because of the lack of all the electronics just being thrown around everywhere when I first took truck top off. Rlaarlo would solve this problem if they used a better 3m tape because what came on it sucked.. But with that aside let me tell you this truggy so far is awesome. But before you put a lipo in it and drive make sure to go over the whole truck. It don't matter if it's a arrmma or Traxxas you always have to do this before thinking of driving for the first time. I had to tighten the wheel nuts and other screws that were little to loose for my liking. Me being ocd like I am I also had to pop them diffs out and check for grease because I have read reviews to where they were dry. But to my surprise they were well lubed I just had to add little of my lithium grease to the rear diff to make it a little tighter. I will tell you this you can't add silicon to it like the nicer diffs because it has no gasket. But atleast the diff is not made of that cheap pop metal like some other smaller rcs. A magnet actually sticks to the diff teeth and the spur gear which to me is a bonus. It will last alot longer than others. And let me tell you on 2s this thing flys with wheelies on demand. You will need that wheelie bar that it comes with. And on 3s this thing is mental it flys as you can see if the pics. Definitely not for a younger kid not unless you use 2s and turn down the setting on remote. Oh yeah the remote it comes with is the best I have seen even better than the big name brands. It's a dumbo rc with a x6f receiver so that means it has crazy range. And no lag like the other brands that sale 1/14 rcs. That alone was another plus for me. Got to say this rc is packed with some goodies. alot of adjustable things that can be done to it. This little thing even has front and rear sway bars and droop screw locations. Only thing about the droop screws they provided was they stripped when trying to install them. But no biggie I had some shorter and better hex head screws of my own. And yes this truck has hex heads throughout not Phillips like all the other china branded small rcs. Like I said they did a great job with this truggy and it was a good buy for me. So if your own the fence about finding a good 1/14 scale truggy this is the one for the price point they are asking for. ... show more

I was absolutely shocked when I opened the box and seeing how dirty and abused this was it definitely snuck right through any kind of inspection before it got a sticker slapped on the box claiming it was inspected and renewed

So the double sided stick tape holding the esc and receiver didn't hold its grip from the factory, probably from the heat during shipping but that's about the only thing I can find to say negative about this car. I bought the hypergo 14" the same time as this for my self and this one was for my granddaughter but I've kind of hijacked this from her it drives so much better. With the sway bars and suspension set up it's center of gravity is so much better it rarely flips over. Bashing it has been no problem either. ... show more
