I did not have much hope for these at first. I had seen many other reviews say they just mixed a ton of bubbles into their resin. I picked up a rechargeable electric screwdriver to go along with them thinking the drill would just be too much. I am pleasently surprised that these with the top speed of the electric screwdriver work perfect for both resin and silicone mixing for dicemaking! The trick to them is making sure that you have enough liquid to completely cover the paddle and keep it under the liquid as long as it is on. If you pull it up to scrape the sides make sure you turn it off and don't turn it back on till after it is completely submerged again. These have saved my arm, hand and wrist a whole lot of pain and discomfort. They do not last forever. I have been using the one for resin mixing for several months and like all silicone it is starting to turn white and get brittle. I do not think it will last much longer. But at less than $2 each, I am OK with that. And if you use it in silicone make sure to immediately wipe it off before it cures and fuses. I have used many different kinds of methods when it comes to mixing my epoxy! Personally, I use this to mix in pigments or resin dyes into smaller containers!     • Works ok for thin resigns but not thick ones. It gets the job done.

It works well enough with thin resigns. It mixes slowly which helps keep bubbles from forming. The paddles are rubbery so they can rub up against the container walls while you are mixing stuff. Depending on the pot life I mix it for a couple of minutes or so. This mixer is only good for mixing small batches of resign etc. By this I mean a couple of ounces or so. I'd use a cordless drill to mix LARGE batches of silicone or resign or use paint sticks. The base is flimsy so I gave it a 4 star rating. It is easy to make a better holder out of scrap material. Keep the rubber paddles away from lacquer they will melt! If you want something that is stronger and faster Amazon has a Badger Air-Brush 121 Paint Mixer with a metal paddle. It is strong but you will have to slow it down while mixing the silicon or resign because the shaft spins very FAST as it is designed to mix hobby paint bottles. ... show more

I haven’t even used it yet and it feels like someone has. It feels like there’s resin already on the rods. I obviously can’t use them before I clean them now witch is fine but I figured they would send a fresh product.
