Just an FYI, first You will need to fill the braces with sand for it to sink. All in All a nice product although the handrails a bit sketch. They work but you know kids they will probably bend them in half. For some reason they like to hang on the ladder. If there was a way to put pvc in to sturdy them up or make them solid, I'm sure most would pay the difference. The steps themselves are very sturdy and should provide years of use. My only concern is when covering the pool how are you going to remove them for winter storage when they are full of sand and water. Time will tell. ... show more

Very happy with the heaviness of this pool ladder works great only thing is is it doesn't hit the bottom floor so you might have to put bottled waters and hang them off to the side to hold it down better but otherwise it works great. I'd buy them again if that makes a difference we love them easy peasy to put together ... show more

The material is great, but the mat doesn't stay down on the floor. It folds up and people trip on it. Has to be put back in place almost every time we get in the pool. It even slides out from under the ladder sometimes.

looked at a lot before buying this one, actually stays put! ends do not pull up, but your automatic vacuum will stop at it and you will have to fix it. while not very thick , its durable and does provide protection to the liner. ordered 2 for my wedding cake steps along with a much bigger one so all sides are protected i do recommend this mat for pool steps ... show more

Purchased these stairs because we had the same type for many years. Our original stairs lasted so long and we loved the width and wanted to purchase the same ones again. Many of the stairs for above ground pools are narrow and we wanted wide. Stairs arrived in the mail missing the top two steps, but the company responded immediately and mailed us the stairs within 2 days. HOwever, after building the steps (which was not easy and required extra tools), discovered these stairs were not quite the same as the original. They were very unstable, wobbly and the handles were partly made of plastic (unlike the originals which were all medal). My husband had to completely reinforce the stairs with additional PVC and in the end, the stairs will work fine, but we should not have had to do all of the extra work to make them stable. ... show more
