If you are planning to buy these for racing each other or playing in the same area, don't. They cannot be used in the same house or area. I bought 2 one silver, one blue and got them all prepared for my son to play with with his friend and they could not play at the same time as one controller runs both cars at the same time. Customer service was amazing, and on their own it is a wonderful product. They are fast. The controllers work well and it has a rechargeable option to avoid batteries which is hard to find without costing a fortune. Other than them running off one frequency they are great which is why I gave 4 stars. ... show more

Overall product was really fun! The remote is easy to control and the car is easy to navigate. The seeps of the car is not super fast but is not slow either. From 1-5 on speed, I would give it a 3. They are smaller than they seem so n the pictures. I really liked the colors and the design especially for their price. Really great idea as a gift! ... show more

    • A no-go special
The car was great for the first charge, then started slowing down and getting stuck on carpet. It turned out to be a slipping drive gear. The axle grease got in between the gear and the axle so it slipped easier and easier. Granted, my 4 year old wasn't an expert operator, and would keep pushing the button after it hit an obstacle. That's why it's gets a 3 star even though it stopped moving even on a smooth hard floor, on the very first day... buyer beware. It's now electronics waste, cheap enough to not be worth the hassle to repack and return it. Plus my 4 year old's mind would explode if she saw it being packed up, easier to make it disappear. I definitely will not buy any other GaHoo cars to replace it. Maybe an older kid will have better luck. ... show more

    • Pretty good overall, but a couple of things to note
The kids like using this toy a lot and it seems pretty durable so far. Two items worth noting though: 1/ Recharging the battery is a task as it just doesn't pop in and out. It requires a battery cover be unscrewed and battery disconnected and then charged up in a wall outlet and put back in the compartment very carefully so the wires fit and connected. Hopefully the small screw for the compartment cover doesn't get lost or the hole get stripped (it's plastic of course) 2/ We got two cars, one blue and one gray for two kids to use. They are quite handsome, but they both operate on the SAME frequency. That only works if they are operated about 50 feet or more from one another (i.e. not in range), but if they are closer than that, a single remote controls BOTH cars! It's kind of fun but both kids will get frustrated as they are hard to control. In fact we have a completely different remote control car and ALL THREE operate on the same frequency where a single remote drives all! ... show more
