Took the plane out to the local football field to fly a plane for the first time. Set in beginner mode. Took off from the track lanes and flew beautifully. I'm no good yet so even in beginner mode, I crashed into a bench, the ground, a chain link fence, and square into a light pole. Broke two propellers and bent the motor shaft. I Set the shaft straight and put on a new prop. Still Flies just fine. The stunt mode is great. The kids liked the loops and rolls. I was even able to come in for a proper landing on the first day. The batteries last a long time. Long enough to start to wonder when they were going to run out. A durable, fast, fully capable, good looking smart plane capable of stunts with extra batteries, and a transmitter for $120? It's just well made and an amazing value. Don't leave reviews often, but The manufacturer of this plane deserves a good one. ... show more

This plane, and frankly any of the other similar versions of the same (whether it be from Leambe/Volantex/Rage RC), all perform exceptionally well for their size. They can take a bit of wind, the stabilization handles exceptionally well, and boy can they take a beating. I now own two, this model and the Corsair from Rage RC. Both fly about the same, can't tell much of a difference. This one can fly marginally slower than the corsair due to the wing structure. As for the abuse, I flew this one at about 2/3 throttle into a goal post trying to be fancy. It connected with the inner leading edge of the right wing, prop flew off, plane spiraled about 20 feet away.. slapped the prop back on and away it flew. Both this and the Corsair have taken enough abuse that eventually the wing assembly began to separate from the fusealage. In both cases, I took a hobby knife to them, made a clean cut along the seam, and using Foam-Tac glue, I tacked both wing assembles back on and they both continue to be a joy to fly. What's great about these little planes, is you don't really need much space to fly. Once you've developed your skills enough, they can be flown in a pretty small space. Of course, having more room is more enjoyable, but not necessary. To try and simulate a test on how much load the wings can bear, I took my corsair into a vertical nose dive from ~100 feet up, at full throttle, and pulled out of the dive at about 20 feet off the ground. Zero issues. I love these little planes. Two of my buddies have since purchased a similar version (from Leambe i think?) and they both love em. I've since started getting into larger planes (my first being the Carbon Cub S2) which is also a lot of fun to fly, but in a way, I think I like these little ones better simply due to their versatility. Anyway, enough ranting. I hope this review helps. I know it would have helped me before buying, but if you're interested at all in trying out RC planes, for ~$100-$110 all in, these are incredibly fun, and boy howdy do they look good flying. If you do purchase, check out some of the 5-pack battery/multi-charger combos using the 400mah battery packs. If the connecter looks the same, they'll work, and will let you enjoy flying near continuously for an afternoon. Great starter planes, I hope this helps people make an informed decision. Just keep in mind, the other 400mm planes are all basically the exact same thing should you like another model better. good luck have fun ... show more

After buying the mini aero scout from hobby town and it didn’t fly worth a crap I was skeptical about buying another airplane, but after getting the leambe p51 mustang my grandson was able to fly this the first time with out any problems. To make the first time easier watch YouTube videos first especially if you have never flew an RC plane. I will definitely purchase another one they are way to much fun. ... show more

Flew it 2 times battery does not last and propeller falls off while it’s flying. When the propeller fell off the plain dove into a tree and got stuck. I fly gas planes and have lots of experience so itsnot user error. Don’t waist your money.

The media could not be loaded. Excellent mini RC plane, very fun from the 1st flight. It is relative easy to flight if you know the basics of aeromodelism. On the video I am fliying in beginner mode and it is very responsive with slight touches of the controller. Its super light weight and that make it very fast if you go for the max speed, but its not really required if there is not wind. In the video I was using around 60-80% of the max speed. Its well constructed and sturdy, and the mechanism that drops the propeller when some conctact while landing its excellent and protects the electric engine from any damage on crash or rough landing. I am really surprised for what this mini airplane can do and I am exited to start doing more acrobatics on medium and pro level modes. ... show more

This was the first remote control plane I bought for my son that has ailerons. Flys amazing. He loved it. But after about 3 hours of use in total the motor has stopped working. Plane is still in fine shape but he's not crashed it hard.
