But with this heavy construction, the hose is very heavy, not just like a regular hose this one is very well built and it will last longer. At 74 years of age I've bought quite a few garden hoses in my time. This is the second one I've bought and probably the last one I'll ever have to. This one went to my Ex-wife, and she raves about it. It doesn't shrink up like others and I'm glad for that. When you drag it out you know exactly where you'll end up at not waiting for it to inflate. The steel sheathing doesn't care when the grandson drives over it with his power wheels truck. I have some other hoses that cost me less but build quality is far from impressive. I've run them side by side I had to get another set the other hoses became so bad I couldn't use them anymore. The metal was coming apart allowing holes to be punctured by dogs and thr connections were spraying out and really beet up so thry could gey a goof connection. Night and day difference really to thr big solid connections on these hoses. ... show more

The nozzle that comes with it isn't good, so I had to buy another one to replace it. Costing me an additional $17. It doesn't easily tangle like the regular rubber hoses do which is terrific. It doesn't leak but it does get HOT in the sun.
