This is a nicely made winch for an atv or utv. It comes with a mounting plate. It's a steel cable with roller guide. The clutch mechanism is a bit dificult to operate but it works. It does not come with a high draw relay and I did not see any info on amp draw. The remote works well and I did not bother to install the manual handlebar control. I honestly can't imagine a situation where I would knowingly put my self in the path of a snaping cable. I always carry a line bag just in case but a remote gets you out of harms way. Installed on a can-am 450 outlander, had to make a few modifications to mount, nothing real big (drill holes and add extra washers). Wiring for remote use was real easy, didn't bother with the manual switch. Works great, solid unit, and would definitely buy again.
