We have a smaller (40th percentile) 5 year old who loves to be active all the time. Since we sometimes get stuck inside during our long, snowy winters, we decided to gave this a try for him. He loves it & uses in frequently. I was easy to put together & makes no noise while in use.

I got this for my active 3 year old daughter for Christmas 2011. Since opening, she has been on it every single day, multiple times a day. She uses it for its traditional inteded purpose, but also likes to stand on it and rock back and forth not alternating legs. She likes to throw a big blanket over the entire thing, push down the center and sit on it, pretend she's a baby and swings on it. She also sits on it without the blanket and swings back and forth. I enjoy it because: 1. It is very sturdy. I would have thought with all she does with it, it would have fallen over by now but it hasn't! (I have it set up on carpet). 2. She is getting a lot of exercise, which is always great; especially during the winter months when we don't do a lot of outside play. 3. It keeps her occupied and she has found various uses for it. It was fairly easy to put together, although a couple of steps were missing from my directions; however, it was easy to figure out where the pieces went on the machine by looking at the picture on the box. I did have to take pieces off to fix it, but it was no big deal. It took me about a half an hour to put together. My 9 year old son also enjoys playing on this - very sturdy when he is on it as well, although he is a little big for it so I would not purchase something this size for a child over 6, as I don't think they would get much use or exercise benefit from it. We bought this for our high energy 4 year old. We will bring it into the living room if we are watching movie so he can burn his energy off as we are trying to have a moment of rest. We then will move it into the home gym so he can work out with us. He has a blast on it. He has tipped it once and some supervision is needed if the kid really gets going on it. But, my son goes wild on it, so it might not be the case for everyone. We will be purchasing more of the equipment available from this company. It's worth the price! ... show more

So far my son is loving this product (the air walker). He loves going to say he has to exercise now (he is 3 1/2). It was fairly easy to assemble and was up and running in no time. Simple but strong design (I have been able to get on and show him how to use it easily)...plus, as another reviewer has said, my son has come up with imaginitive alternate uses for it and really likes it! As for the bike, my son likes that too BUT the computer on our bike is not working properly and my son has not figured out how to ride moving forwards yet (he peddles backwards) but the computer issue is unlrelated to his stride issues. As soon as we hooked up the computer the LCD display is all messed up and will not respond to any buttons etc. ... show more

I have to admit, I did not have high expectations for this product but really wanted something to keep my 3 yrd old occupied while I was working out and to keep her off of the adult equipment. This product looks like plastic but is made of tubular metal and is very sturdy and stable. It is the perfect size for a 2-4 yr old of average height. However, it's rated for a higher weight so when the older kids get on it (8 and 6 yrs old), I don't have to worry about it breaking. My 3 yr old loves it and uses it even when I am not on my equipment. (The older kids love it, too, but they are really too tall for it.) ... show more

When I wanted to purchase this I didn't see any reviews on it so I was hesitant to buy, but I bought anyways and really really like it! My 6 year old goes to a private school for Autistic children. They use this exact glider/ air walker in OT. He often asks for sensory or silly breaks to use it. We bought one for home. He cannot sit still. This really helps. After reading the other reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. This will last until he’s ready for a bigger person model. He’s 4’ 50 lbs, 6 1/2 years old. Sometimes he just sits on it like a swing and reads. Can’t beat it for the price ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My 22 mos old grandson, and little girl my daughter baby sits, enjoyed the air walker. My daughter got an elliptical for Christmas and I believe teaching by example is valuable. The kiddos seemed to eager to exercise it and that’s the key! I’m hoping we’ll get the treadmill too.
