These paper shades arrived quickly and were very easy to cut to size and install in our new home. The downside is that in the first floor kitchen and living room windows where the sun shines during the afternoon, the adhesive did not stick so well and we’d find them on the floor on occasion. We remedied this with blue painters tape, doesn’t look so great, but until I get the draperies up these will have to do! They are easy to raise ( just fold them up and clip with the included plastic clips!) and take down. We’ve had them up for 3 months now and they are still doing fine. ... show more

Had to paperclip them to keep them in position. They will lean forward naturally and come off the top of bottom window. Seems to me that a paperclip on each side is the best way to set their height.

So it isn't a bad product, the packaging however is horrible. The box and blinds were all folded. I was able to cut around that because I needed them for much smaller windows. I'd say wear gloves lol these paper cut like a samurai warrior. The serve their purpose pretty well. They look okay up. My only real complaint would be package these better, and maybe Include a cutting tool? I used a knife because scissors just weren't working well. ... show more

I really like these paper Redi Shades. My old blinds had broken and needed to replace. I didn't want white, but I found these in cafe color which is a great color for my guest room. So simple and easy put in window frame, and easy to cut if need be. My window frame is 69" wide and 35 1/2" long, so I had to use two of these side by side. Unfortunately, they do not make these wider than 36" or 48", but this worked out fine. I had to cut a little bit off the width to make both shades fit evenly in window frame and some off the length, which was easy to do too. All in all, these worked out very well, and I have 4 more left to use later, so these should last a long time. They filter the sunlight okay, but do not block it out completely, which I expected. I would imagine the black colored ones may filter light out much better, but I needed a lighter colored paper. I recommend these shades, and you can't beat the prices. ... show more

The price has gone up on these unfortunatly but I love them. They dont look cheap like some if the other paper ones but are definetly inexpensive enough so I don't cry if one of my dogs messes them up. They have stayed on some of my windows without any issues but kept losing grip on top of my others. Not sure if I didn't clean the window spot well enough or if it's ones that I had to unstick to move or what. Either way, I just used white furniture puns on those and it took care of the issue easily. These were initially going to be used until I could replace them with more expensive ones but honestly they look so nice I've decided I have a lot of other things that I need to work on in my house before I get to that point. ... show more

I honestly didn't fully understand what I was getting 😂.. I just knew it sounded good... I mean I understood it was a six pack etc. But, I was still kinda shocked when I opened the package. I have 3 large windows in my garage that faces the street. I wanted something fairly inexpensive to put up. These definitely do the job. I'm curious as to how long the adhesive will last, it doesn't really seem "sticky" but they're up and have been up for a few weeks now and no problems. Clips were included also. At first I was using the clips on the bottom of the shades to stretch them but because I also used them for two other windows in my house, I realized that in time they stretch out themselves meaning you see the full length over time.. (and not a long time). I was worried at first that they were too short but they're perfect. Easy to cut and install. Literally took like 10 minutes for me to measure, cut and install on 3 windows. I was a little disappointed that every one of the six shades was bent at one end when they arrived, but I figured I could hide that flaw behind the curtains, which I did. They were very easy to install and looked great! My window was exactly as wide as the shade, so no need to even trim it. Stayed up for only ONE NIGHT. When I woke up and found the shade had fallen, I picked it up and the adhesive strip that sticks to the top of the window frame had stuck itself to the middle of the shade. When I tried to unstick it, it unavoidably ripped the shade. It had wrinkled in the fall anyway, so it would never really look nice again anyway. I’m going to listen (too late) to another reviewer who used Velcro to attach the shade to the window frame before I burn another shade just sticking it up. I’m sure it would be fine without those heavy, clunky unattractive clips They look like chip clips. Need to figure out an alternative for those, too. But you can’t beat the price for a pack of 6 shades, though, and they look nice if you can get them to stay up the first time. At least I have spares, now, for the two windows I needed them for. I really like these shades. I have ordered may Redi Shades over the past 5 or 6 years, often while. Recently I ordered "natural", and the first batch was kraft paper, like paper bag material. For the project I used them for, I loved that look. So much that I ordered more of the same for some spots in my home. But THAT batch was not the same color, much lighter. Since these were going into a completely different space, I was still able to use them. But it causes me to be concerned that I could get different colors within one order for the color "natural". Aside from that, I think these are great. EASY to install, and quickly meet a need. ... show more
