  • Worth the money
Style: with grid rack
This red camp stove is well built, better than I expected for the price. Made out of quality materials. The setup is quick and easy. I got the smaller one and is great for one or two people for cooking or boiling water. Works well with charcoal. You can even heat a small tarp shelter with this thing for survival. A little on the heavy side but doesn’t take up much room for ghb or bob. ... show more

  • Compact and works well
Style: Large with grill
I like this little camp stove when out camping. It's fairly lightweight and durable. The canvas carrying case is very strong and durable as well. It is small, but you can cook about two chicken thighs or two burgers at one time. If there is a fire pit in my campsite, I will put this inside the pit. That way when I am done using it, I can just dump out the coals into the firepit and start my evening campfire. ... show more

  • Decent price, but not very stable stove unless modified. UPDATE: Buy LARGE stove.
Style: with grid rack
Overall, this stove is ok for the price. It cooks well, but not very secure and stable. It folds compactly, but if try to move it, be careful because it falls apart. Able to cook something for one person, maybe for two. The ash pan will fall out of you move it much, same for the grill plate. I do like the grill plate is adjustable. My biggest complaint is that parts don't lock into place. Not sure to keep it or return and look for something else. Update: I have used it several times and decided to keep it, mostly have been cooking a couple sausages over charcoal, just fits. I use a couple of the binder clips to keep the grill plate/ash pan in place, as well the grill pan. I just keep them in the pan. Also, I made a metal plate out of a can to use as a twig stove so the coals don't fall out. Update: From what I have seen, better buy the Large stove and is probably what i will do next. Update:. LARGE STOVE. It won't let me write a separate review for large stove, but purchased and received LARGE stove. So far, like it very much! Bigger and heavier than the small stove, but much easier to assemble and much more stable. I have used it 3 times so far. Once to cook using charcoal. Once using wood to cook. Once as for pit. No warping, but little rust on inside. Definitely not a backpack stove, but great for small firepit/grill. ... show more

  • I am amazed at how small this is yet so efficient.
Style: with grid rack
Talk about minimalism. This unit folds up into an extremely small package. It is capable of perking coffee, cooking dinner or even toasting s'mores. Lastly it puts off some good heat for those cooler nights to take the chill off. I would recommend ruining a file or sandpaper over the edges though as the edges can be sharp. ... show more

  • Great portable and compact stove!
Style: Small with pot holder grill
This stove is super compact and does the job! Very easy to set up and put away. It was a game changer for cooking meals during our camping trip, the small version was able to support my 10” cast iron with no problem. Had an issue with a part and contacted customer service. They were quick and easy to work with, very satisfied with this purchase! ... show more

  • Cool Little Stove
Style: with grid rack
I have recently been wanting to go camping again. I haven’t been in so long that I did not have any gear which created two issues: 1. Starting at scratch 2. getting to try lots of new things! This was one of those little guilty pleasures. I had to ask myself a question: would I like to have a portable firebox I can use anywhere? Answer: YES. First of all, this stove has some weight to it. It is made out of stainless steel. Which means if you’re an ultralight hiker with an ideal pack weight, go ahead and see yourself out of this review. If you don’t care about weight and want to have a fun way to cook; keep reading. Second, this little firebox is well built. I do not have any suspicion of this thing breaking anytime soon. Third, grate turned red hot during the process. I’m not sure if that was intended, but it was alarming (see pictures). I ran some tests to check integrity and it seems even though the grate gets red hot, it will not bend too severely. If this sound concerning, I would suggest purchasing the grill option instead. Summary: Functional, although a bit heavy, firebox that can support some heavier cooking vessels. Easy to use and easy to clean. ... show more

  • This grill is amazing!
Style: Large with grill
Collapses to packable size. Twigs work fine but I take it on family picnic days with instant charcoal and can easily cook burgers, steaks, and dogs. Retains heat well, speedy setup and take down. Wonderful product so far!

  • Happy Camper!
Style: with grid rack
After researching many compact wood stoves, I decided on this one! I must say, I am very pleased! The stove comes packed in a nice carry case with ample room for adding a Bic lighter and fire starting material! The metal is heavy duty and decent thickness. It opens up easily and closes the same. The main reason I like this model is due to the cooking surface which offers a flat stable surface! Some of the other models I reviewed had unstable surface or just not large enough to rest a pot on. The first time I used this, I just boiled a 24 Oz cup of water. I gathered a bunch of wood, but to be honest, it only used a few sticks before the water was boiling! It took about 5 minutes, which I thought was very quick! Another benefit to this design is that it blocks the wind as your trying to light the fire! Definitely worth the price and quality! Now there are a few negatives! One is the weight! For me it was fine, but it is a little heavy! If you’re into saving every ounce, this is probably not gonna work for you. But it is sturdy and should last you a long time! For all I have used mine, it shows no metal fatigue or warping! The second thing is the side wood feed. I wish it was a little more vertical so the wood can auto feed into the fire. I’m sure I could rig something to prop up the wood but would be nice if the next version took this into account! Technically, you should be close enough to the fire and be able to feed the sticks in, especially since it heats really quick, but still an option that I noticed on other similar but pricier stoves! For me, I’m a happy camper! ... show more
