With the turn table being an all-in-one design I thought the speaker would not be good but that was NOT the case, perfect sound for a young person's first turntable. I was surprised by the sound quality for an internal speaker but it has the flexibility to use a Bluetooth system separately. The setup was easy. I bought this as a gift for my daughter. The all-in-one design without a separate speaker was ideal for the limited space she has. I was surprised by the sound quality for an internal speaker but is has the flexibility to use a bluetooth system separately. The set-up was typical of a standard tone arm turntable and no problem at all. The instructions were clear enough and the result I think is quite good. It looks great in her room and I was able to pass on all of my old records and re-live the music from the days of my misspent youth! Highly recommend this product. ... show more

My daughter and I originally went with the 50$ Victrola, and that was disastrous. But, for the extra money, this unit is top notch. No warble in the sound, speakers are crisp and clean and it nice to have a well known named Audio Technique cartridge on the tone arm. We went with the classic wood look and it fits right in with her nice furniture. Easy to set up, just pay attention to how much weight is put on the needle and you're good to go. Received today, set-up and tested. No issues. PROS: Well packaged. Sound was more than acceptable for a turntable with speakers for $200. Attractive. RCA jack for external speakers. Bluetooth IN for listening to music from other devices. CONS: Instructions somewhat confusing for tonearm balancing. No adjustments for base/treble. No amp specs which would help in external selection. OVERALL: A nice unit for the money and satisfactory unless you were expecting audiophile performance for $200. In which case go into the garage and pull out all of those high end components you bought in the 70's when a good cartridge was $300 +! ... show more

I don’t write a ton of reviews but I’m so thrilled with this item, I was inspired to share. My former fabulous 1970’s Technics beautiful turntable reached the end of its life a while ago and I wanted something simple and turn key to replace it for now. Being a vinyl lover for years, I wasn’t sure what the quality of the sound would be, but it is surprisingly good for the size and simplicity. I’m so excited that it allows me to put my records back in action in 2024. The setup was pretty easy. I recommend watching the video posted in these reviews for the bar balancing part, as it explained it perfectly. This unit was out of the box and playing records 20 minutes later. The sound fills most of the living space of our small Bungalow. I’ve been playing my records for hours since setting up the player. I just love the physical interaction of choosing the album … pulling the record out … placing it on the turntable … cleaning it … and putting that needle in the edge to start the experience. The flipping for the next half is just another bonus and chance to check in. I’ve missed this!!! THIS will bring more music and joy into my life and is totally worth the money for something quick and easy. 🎶💚👊 ... show more
