Also many of the toppers I purchased were not covered and I knew it would start to flake after time. My student housing gave me a mattress that was basically a box spring. Put this guy on top and it feels like an actual good quality bed. If I were the girl from princess and the pea, and the pea were a box spring, I wouldn't feel the pea at all. 5 stars.

I decided to write the review because this product is better than I expected at a really reasonable price. Before I had a blue mattress topper that has the texture like moose foam with holes on it, however overtime it turned yellow, the foam got ripped off and finally I had to replace it with this one. A good plus for this one is it has a cover, the foam is more supporting. The cover can be taken off to watch so it wont become yellow like my old one. Another plus is it has the elastic trap to be in place with mattress, unlike my old one I had to move it back after awhile. And the price for this is cheaper than my old ones. I bought this two inch twin mattress topper to go on my side of a new king mattress that was too firm for me. My husband wanted a firm mattress but he weighs more than I do, so I kind of floated on top unsupported. My shoulder and back were hurting me so I started researching foam toppers. I like that this one came with a cover, which is soft and washed up very well—no shrinking). I followed the directions and let it rest flat for 24 hours before using it. I did not notice a smell, and I am very sensitive to smells. I was concerned that it might be too soft at first, and then when it “inflated” completely, I was worried that it would be too firm. It offers the perfect amount of support for me and does not slip around at all on my side of the bed. (I put it in between our mattress cover and fitted sheet). This topper is so dang comfortable I never want to leave my bed. Getting up for work is a struggle. Also I don't find it to get hot at all. I am usually always hot and I was nervous at first that this would be very hot an uncomfortable but so far its been great. You can't beat this price either..
