This is the third time I’ve bought this product for my daughter’s bed… Third time because we had some cat issues, so I finally bought a soft liquid proof sheet to go over it. Live and learn. Problem solved… I’ve bought other brands of toppers in the past ranging from very expensive to the lower end of the price spectrum. This brand is by far worth what you spend in regard to comfort, quality, longevity and bang for your buck. Size - I bought the 2” queen. It fits perfectly from top to bottom and side to side. Comfort - I know the definition of this can vary widely from consumer to consumer. I have found it to be of good quality medium support. Again, this definition may vary from person to person. Pain Relief- I’ve had back problems for many years and found great relief with this topper. I have an expensive mattress and did not want to buy another so I looked for an alternative. I found it! As a result I sleep better and feel more rested when I wake up. Assembly- I’ve read dozens of reviews with complaints about this product not re-inflating properly. Being my third purchase of this product, this is the first time I’ve had a bit of a problem with that… I followed the instructions and took the cover off and laid it in a flat well ventilated area from 24-48 hours. Well after about 72 hours only the middle inflated and the end looked like a bubbly/bumpy tortilla chip. Needless to say I was disappointed, but after doing a little research I found that “man handling it helped. I tapped (well it was slightly more than just a light tap) and massaged the ends for about 15 minutes and waited. The next morning it was perfect. We really like this mattress topper! (We got the 2" thick one.) What makes this topper special is that it's on the firmer side (and very supportive in that way) but still soft enough to accomplish eliminating pressure points. We are on our second one as the first one wore out. Here are some highlights from our experience and tips: - We never could get the straps to hug our mattress corners to keep the topper in place. We do have a pillow top / super deep bed so that could be the reason. - You MUST allow the topper to fully expand for at least 48 hours, as the directions say. Be patient and DO NOT skip this step! (We laid ours out in our garage and parked outside for a couple of nights.) - I did not notice any pronounced foam / chemical odors, yet it was in my garage. - I sleep hot and this topper keeps me perfectly cool. - This topper lasted us 1 year and 6 months. We knew it was worn out because we were getting out of bed with sore backs and the loft of our pillows seemed suddenly wrong. (Note that my husband is 5' 9" and 175 lbs and I am 5' 5" and 160 lbs, so average weight when noting the wear.) I thought it did not last long enough and we talked about getting a Tempur Pedic topper for a lot more $$$...but then I called a local mattress store and learned that this is actually the typical / average lifespan for a foam topper, which I found interesting. When I replaced my foam mattress with a hybrid it was what my wife needed but I needed more localized support. The foam seems firm but it shapes well after a moment. You have to wait for it to catch up to you if you change position, but I am getting the sleep I was before and my back is supported when on my side or back. Recommended. ... show more

Wow! I have only had this one night, but I woke up without aches. Super comfy amd makes my old mattress feel like a cloud. I was worried when I unpacked it, and it was very lumpy due to the vacuum seal packaging. But, it fluffed up within a couple of hours by just leaving it on the bed. Was sleeping comfy that night! I bought a king size 2 inch egg crate mattress topper six years ago, (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089ME0ES/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). That thing is super comfortable. It was like buying a new bed. However, after six years, it has changed to an ugly yellow color for some reason, and it no longer felt as firm. I should have just bought another egg crate but I decided to try something different. After reading dozens of reviews, I decided on the RECCI 3-inch. The reviews seemed too good, so I assume many were fake. I ran the reviews through the Fakespot dot com site and they judged the 200+ reviews legitimate, so I was sold. When the topper arrived, I unrolled it and left it on the hardwood floor in the guess room for two days to make sure it was fully expanded. It came with a nice cover already installed. Before putting it on the bed, I walked on it to see how it felt. My feet sunk all the way to the hardwood. That seemed too soft but I didn't think much of it since I don't sleep standing up all that often I was looking forward to sleeping on it but was disappointed at how soft it is. If I sleep near the edge of the bed I don't sink down as much, but I prefer to sleep near the middle. I don't think my weight is the problem. I'm a well-proportioned 200 pounds. Maybe it's just better for lighter people or those who like it soft? I would send it back but I don't know where I would find a "refrigerator size box to stuff it into, so I'm stuck with it. I will order another egg crate today. The material seems to be solid all the way through, so I think I will cut the RECCI down to queen size and put it on the bed in the guest room. BTW, regular king-size fitted sheets will not reach down to the bottom edge of the mattress with this 3-inch topper on the bed.
