The latex paint and the cuticle oil work amazingly exactly what I expected as for the the stuff that is supposed to help get gel paint off, I can not get it to work properly I’ve tried it several times in different ways with no luck 🤷🏼♀️

I got this kit because I was starting out with doing my own gel manicures. My nails are super thin and I needed better tools to prevent damaging my nails. The remover: This works great as long as you do a good job removing the top layer of polish with a file. The included files work amazing for that. As others noted, if you get it on your skin it will sting. You can use the metal tools to scrape it off easily. Make sure to glop a bunch on then wait, but not tool long or it seems to dry out. When it works, it works amazing. I think with practice, it will be the easiest solution for removing gel polish. The latex protectant: I used this once. Combination of the product and the brush, just seem to make a sloppy mess. I need more practice and may use a finer brush for applying it to my nails. I think down the road it will be helpful as I improve my nail artistry. The tools: The two scraper tools are so handy. I use them to remove polish, to clean up edges and then clean off dead skin. If you use them right, you do not need to use a cuticle trimmer. Or at least I prefer using them to a cuticle trimmer. I keep a cotton ball soaked in polish remover handy to wipe them clean between uses. Files: These files are so nice. The fit nicely in my hand. The shape allows you to get full use of the file instead of just a little of the edge. I use them multiple ways and they have greatly improved the quality of my manicures. Overall, this is a great set that you may only need to purchase once for the tools and files. And, worth it to try out the remover and latex. ... show more

This definitely helped in removing the residue off of my nails but I found that if you do one coat, try to remove the residue then immediately after the first coat - apply again, you will have a much easier time getting your gel to come off!

I don't know how to feel about this stuff. It didn't seem to work well for me. I applied a generous amount on each nail, put the foil over it like usual and fastened it with a nail clip...came back to one of my nails about 10-15 mins later and it was like I didn't put anything on the nail to remove the polish. Wouldn't come off. I tried again and found myself having to break out my e-file (exactly what I didn't wanna have to do) and went in for another layer of this and even after 3 turns with a total of 30 mins soak time I actually went in with my acetone to get the rest of it off. I think from now on I'm just gonna use my acetone. It's quicker. It's easier I think. I dunno if this is better with poly gel or what but I tried so many different ways with this stuff and in the end it just didn't work out right. ... show more

I don’t understand the bad reviews because this product definitely works. I love that it came with the removal tools AND liquid latex. As long as you’re properly remover the shiny topcoat of your gel polish then it WILL work. I use a rubber base on my gel nails to add thickness to my paper thin nails, so I have to apply a few layers of it to fully remove all of it. BUT it works almost instantly and I just scrape off the layer and then add another. It’s not time consuming & you get everything you need at this price point—good deal. Oh and I use a e-file/drill to remove my top coat. I will say the one they give you doesn’t work that great if you’re used to using an e-file/drill. Everything is good though. ... show more
